Great tire for commuting. Pay attention to the directional arrow when installing
Updating this review in January 2025. Finally replacing a pair of these after 14 years of steady use. Tread is still OK but the rubber is cracking down to the casing in the grooves. Can't complain after so many years, so much use and so much weather. These tires have a directional tread; better to channel water away from the center of the tire. See the attached photo for the sidewall marking. BTW-this is opposite from the advice of the Amazon AIChecked the Kenda website and looks like these are no longer made by the company...but are still available online from other sources. Just bought a replacement pair from "Bike Liquidators" for less than $40 for the pair. Figured I'd do it now while still available....probably no hope they will still be around when this pair wears out :-(Bike still going strong, Bafang kit still going strong, me a little slower, but new tires are great :-)Original Review - June 2024:Put a pair of these on a 1999 Cannondale F1000 with a Bafang mid-drive 750W electric motor kit. I use this bike for commuting and errands. Replaced a pair of Maxxis Holy Rollers and the Kendas are much better for pavement, gravel and smooth dirt; improving both speed and distance. Handling is great and quieter than knobbies too.I use Sunlite puncture resistant tubes, adding weight, but hey, it's got a motor. Extended hard shoulders on these tires also increase weight a little but give a wider profile on soft ground and protect the sidewalls from damage. So far, so good, knock on wood.Installed the tires many years ago and they are still rolling just fine; wear is minimal but starting to show age. Probably need to think about getting another pair sometime and will definitely replace them with another pair just like the current pair.Highly recommend.

Low rolling resistance, easy to install, wear well
I use these on my mountain bike which I ride soley on pavement any more. They work great there. They hold their pressure and they role smooth with as little resistance as one could expect. They seem to be wearing well too. I will probably buy another set once I've worn these down, but that will probably be a while. They were very easy to install.

Smoothe and fast!
Pulled a pair of 2.125" mountain bike tires off an old bike and install these. They fit fine on the original rim, with no clearance issues and make for a super fast and comfortable ride on pavement. It's made a huge difference in the comfort of the bike.

Love these tires
I've had these on my bike for a few months that i ride for an hour daily and they have been great so far. Great wet and dry traction and a game changer for riding mountain bike on the street. The mostly slick tread pattern exponentially reduces rolling resistance over knobby off road tires and makes the ride so much more enjoyable.

Haven't exploded yet.
My housemates ebike of pain, which he beats the absolute hell out of needed new tires. As he is an astonishingly poor SOB who offloads all of his problems on everybody else, it fell to me to yet again repair this god forsaken pile of crap into getting him to work because he's to much of a drunken dip to have a license anymore and even if he did, he'd launch the nearest car into a ravine or a wandering pile of ducks.Since I spent a couple hundred bucks replacing the entire drivetrain, rebuilding the wheels, and using these tires as the basis for a whole Slime conversion (12oz/tube), plus fancy french cloth rim tape I haven't been bothered with random late night screams of "hey, A Human, my bike broke again pweeeeeeeze help me I won't ever pay you but you'll be a good human, right?" And for that I am eternally thankful.Buy these tires if you want smooth rollers to replace the BS mountain bike tires that every Amazon ebike manufacturer seems to insist on equipping their poorly designed festering piles of garbage with. Buy these tires if you're so sick and tired of patching tubes for someone else you'd rather huff paint thinner. The last two months of not being whined at have been worth the $45 for a pair. I don't know if they're puncture resistant and frankly I don't care. All I know is they're handling a 50lbs ebike that should otherwise be put in a smelter and my housemate, an incredibly huffy man who contorts himself into knots to make his problems everyone else's (all while complaining about his sciatica) hasn't uttered a peep.Good tires in my book. Buy em.

Kendra Tires
I put 3000 miles on this season and these tires are responsive in dry and wet conditions. Excellent purchase.

Quality Tire
Much improved ride on my old mountain bike. Good traction and quiet ride. It is much easier to pedal now so I like to ride. The only thing I had to be careful with is a wider 'shelf' of rubber between the tread and sidewall that got close to a screw on my front derailleur but I was able to adjust it out of the way.

Just WOW.
I never realized how much difference a tire could make. I mainly ride on pavement, so I figured I would get a more street oriented tire from the Maxxis Holy Rollers I was using. I switched these in and WOW. So much less rolling resistance. I can ride 10+ mph faster in a higher gear with way less effort. Truly a night and day difference. They're quiet and very grippy, too. Highly recommend.
