Let there be light.
Great product. Easy to install. My garage is really well lit now.

Excellent value, tons of light!
Put these up in my shop, only took about an hour including looking at things and finding the right drill bit to put some holes in the beams -- only have 6 up and they're bright as heck -- if my ceilings were a little higher, maybe I'd want more lumens but these were perfect for the height I have.

Love these lights
I bought these lights 5 years ago for my dimly lit work room and they were really fast to put up and provided a ton of extra light and they’re still going strong. I decided to buy another set to install in the garage. Complete install including unpacking, measuring, and stapling the wire to the ceiling was about an hour. The work room has exposed floor joists so install was only about 30 minutes. These are worth every penny and now I can actually see inside my garage!

Pretty good for the money. Dubious switches.
I just put up all eight of these in one side of my two-bay 25'x15'x10' garage to wrench on bikes. The result is moderate brightness. Good enough for general use and far superior to the single 100W-equivalent LED I had before, but probably half of the light per square foot of what you might see in a professional shop. I'm content with it for the price. Now I can see things I drop. To detail a car or the like, though, I'd probably want about triple the output over the same area.It took about 90 minutes to put them all up. The lights are daisy-chained from one outlet. Each one weighs a couple of ounces, which is good because the mounts included are as chintzy as can be (and yet, perfectly adequate, despite that I was driving the tiny screw that holds each one into ceiling drywall). The lights turn on instantly, and after a few minutes, I can feel a bit of heat from the aluminum heatsinking on the base. Light is quite soft. No glare, no hard shadows. So far, so good. There are two annoyances: first, the initial switch I installed (the pack includes at least six of them) worked for a minute, then made an electrical noise and stopped working. I tossed it and swapped in another, but I wouldn't trust any of them with regular use. I don't care because mine are powered by a bulb socket adapter with a wall switch, so the inline switch is permanently on.Second, there are only two ways to connect the lights: flush end-to-end, or with a 4' lead. If you need to mount them at angles (to make a nice square on the ceiling like I did), you end up with gobs of extra cord. I zip-tied little bundles that hang a few inches down, with a future may-or-may-not-happen project planned to trim them all down. There are also no three-way connectors, so you may need to be creative in how you position the lights if you're trying to create branches.Anyway, if they don't fail, I'd say they're worth the money. Doing this again, though, I might opt for a brighter set. The cost is modest relative to the annoyance of the installation and wire-tidying.

Brilliantly bright white!
The media could not be loaded. They are just as I hoped. Bright white without any hint of blue. It's just bright white.I purchased two sets of the 8 count 4ft 5k barrina T5 kits. When you spread these lights out to create a shop lighting effect (Shaddowless), it's absolute bliss and acclimation is easy on the eyes.I ordered another brand for underneath my Cabinets because I wanted a 4k lumination over the bamboo butcher block 4k, 4ft ( 2x).The video represents the difference from 4k to barrina 5k T5.Trying to decide on types of wire covers was beginning to sound redundant as I started to imagine just keeping the wires neat by just drilling small holes into the ceiling, followed by folding the wire, and tucking it into the ceiling. (Pics)Another short cut to install was by using a duel plug lightbulb socket. Boy did I get lazy here, but again I secured everything neatly and it looks decent using 7mm cable clips. (Pics)At one section I needed a longer extension than the cables supplied. Fortunately everytime you connected two lights together directly without cables, you free up a cable. For spare parts. So I created two long cables to reach over my. Ceiling storage and to its ending point. (Pic)Lots of people wonder just how many you can connect into a single sequence. Weather it's 4ft or 8ft the intensity and power output plays a major role. My 5k 4ft sequence of 8 are the safe limit. From this point on for every additional light you add into sequence, the power chords will began to heat up more for each additional light within the same sequence. All in all it's been a year and everything is still working perfectly and everyone loves the lighting. I installed a total of 16, 4ft barrina t5, 5k lights into a garage that is only about 18'x20' in dimension and I strongly recommend them.

Florescent tube replacement
These went above the cabinets in my kitchen, replacing the florescent tubes. They are a very cool white, which is what we wanted there. Price per foot is a great deal
