Disappointing, since other than the valve the spray nozzle seems really well made.As several other people reported, the ball valve broke after just a few weeks. While you can manually open/close the valve, you can't adjust it from the lever, so you can't open/close the water.It took me a while to find a way to contact the seller, but I was finally able to do it through Amazon messages. The seller refunded my purchase so that I can buy it again. Hopefully the new one will work better.

Using this for watering chores almost daily. Really impressed when it arrived in February because it's nice and heavy duty and had a nice grip. Shut off valves worked well. Three weeks after I got it the casting split and it started spraying small amount of water out to the side. Continued using it. This morning the shut-off valve no longer works, tried to fix it but the screw is stripped. This is just from routine daily use, I have not abused this item at all. I am now waiting to see if the seller will honor their alleged lifetime warranty, but seriously, less than three months? This thing is going to wind up on the landfill whether or not I get a free replacement and that is just a terrible thing. I I thought if I spent a little more I would get something that would last longer, but... higher cost, crappy quality anyway.

It is good for delicate plants. The water stream is gentle. The hand piece is very sturdy and durable.The water stream is weak in the middle and stronger on the end. No matter how much you turn the water up, it is still weak in the middle and stronger on the end. It is not helpful when trying to water big areas, but I am keeping it for my delicate plants.

The media could not be loaded. The nozzle itself is very well made. Robust and has a good fan on it. I believe it will last a good long while. It releases a very large volume of water. Now for the elephant in the room and "pretty much" the only complaint about this nozzle. (as shown in most reviews) The plastic valve that is attached to the nozzle. If you've ever bought any garden nozzle with these cheap plastic valves you know that they break or quit rotating in short order. Mine did inside of a week. I knocked a star off for that but in all reality, there is no nozzle on the marked that has a plastic valve that will withstand even typical use. THEY ALL BREAK. (unfortunately) I really think they should simply not include it, or give an option for the nozzle without the valve. Do yourself a huge favor and buy yourself one of those brass valves that are made for garden hoses. These should last a lifetime as long as you don't leave it out in the winter so it freezes and breaks. They sell them on Amazon as well. Look at it as an investment for your gardening. You can use if for this nozzle, trigger nozzles, sprinklers, etc. I would definitely buy this nozzle again, but just know, the valve will break. For some this may be a deal breaker but I'm looking past it because this is a common fault across the board. The pics included in my review show the nozzle I used for mine. Hope this helps!

This Rocky Mountain Goods Fan Spray Nozzle is very well-made!! It delivers the water in a consistent manner. I don't expect it to break easily, as some I have bought in the past! I highly recommend it!

Nice spray nozzle, was very satisfied with it until today. I closed the valve to move to a new area and it would not turn back on. I took the lever off to see if I would repair it. Apparently it is simply a friction fit or it was glued. Reassembled to see if it would reseat, no luck. Not sure if any glue will hold on this type of plastic but I'll let it dry for a couple days and try it. Bought it a year ago. It's has light use and was not left out over the winter. It was outside all summer connected to the water hose but drained before freeze and stored inside.

This looked like a terrific tool when I first received it. It worked well, the volume control valve was easy to turn, the spray was even and the device felt good to hold. This lasted about two months. I received it June 7 and by August 7 it had started give out. First the plate that has the holes for the water in it and creates the fan pattern crept out from the housing and allowed water to shoot out the top. Then the control valve stopped working. In the picture above notice that the valve lever is in the off position.It was so disappointing to have a tool fail after so short a time. I expected to be using this sprayer for years.It seems the manufacturer placed more emphasis on the look rather than functional quality and durability.Unfortunately I could not recommend this produce to a friend.

Except for the control valve assembly, the spray nozzle overall is good quality and the spray pattern is ideal for most watering purposes. The problem with this item is the weak construction of the ball control valve IMO. The small plastic shaft of the ball valve connecting to the operating lever soon weakens and strips out with occasional use. I would not recommend this product until the problem with the control valve assembly is corrected.
