Q: how well does it work as a root touch up?

It works great to fill in very thin hair and to cover gray roots. I love it for both.

Q: does it come with a brush?

Yes, it comes with a small brush which seems to lose brush hairs while the powder is being applied. I prefer a sponge type applicator. The results are very good though since I don't have large bald spots and I just need to cover where the hair is somewhat sparse.

Q: Can i use this powder on my thinning eyebrows?

Yes. You can definitely use it as a fill in for eyebrows as well but make sure you go over your eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil with the color of your choice and then add on a stroke or two of the powder for fill in. Looks great!

Q: how many applications do you get out 1 compact container

1 compact lasted about 6 weeks. I only applied it to my hairline and some thinning areas on top.
