These are awesome, life-changing.
I love how simple these are. I don’t know how I survive these past years without them. I have one on every one of my drill presses now in the shop. These are a great value and great quality. Highly recommend recommended.

Value priced, meets or exceeds description, works as advertised and is a value.
I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

Perfectly Square, Built Like a Tank
These blocks are dead accurate and solid. Great for squaring up jigs, tool setup, or clamping small parts. Threaded holes are clean and consistent. Feels like a machinist tool at a woodworker's price.

Very good for the price
I saw complaints about thye sticky oil on these blocks. That didn't bother me, I like my tools to come in a protective coating. This stuff man not be MIL-SPEC Cosmoline, but it's darned close, and that's a GOOD thing. I wiped them down with solvent (naptha, I think?), which worked great. Then I ran a Q-tip through the holes to extract most of what was inside, leaving a slight coating, which I wanted. Any residual oil inside the holes is viscous enough that it hasn't oozed out. I don't know what steel this is, but I suspect it will rust pretty easily, so I run an oil-rag-in-a-can (a la Paul Sellers), over the blocks whenever I've used them. They haven't rusted at all, as of now.I saw reviews that talked about the inaccuracy of the hole-allignment. They are correct, the holes aren't aligned perfectly. That doesn't bother me, as I don't connect the blocks. For me, the holes only serve to make the blocks lighter, so that's OK for me.I also saw reviews that said the dimentions weren't correct - it was clear that they received METRIC blocks. Mine were spot-on in inches. For quick checks on 90° blade and fence set-up, these are just what I needed, For setting fence-to-blade distance at precisely 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 inches, they are quick and accurate. That's all I wanted.I suspect the steel is soft enough that dropping one on concrete will do major damage. So try not to drop them on concrete. Me? I'm clumsy, and will likely drop them, time to time. I put pieces of old carpet (free from the dumpster) under my bench and all my major power tools. God willin' an' if the creek don't rise, these will last me a lifetime.

Precision and quality
These blocks are great. I checked their accuracy with micrometer, spot on! And you get 2 of them - Bonus!

For a woodworker, these are excellent. Extreme accuracy
I don't know about metal workers, but for a woodworker, these blocks make life easy and there are potentially a hundred uses for these. Besides being used as a square for saw blades, they make great stop blocks and measuring tools (1", 2", 3", 4", 5", 6" and more if you buy more than two of these). I use them to drill pilot holes for 3/8" dowels in wood slats, and they make perfectly spaced holes on 2x4s, 1x4s, 2x6s and 1x6s (benches and tables for example). They also allow me to make perfect countersink holes with a 3/8" countersink bit because it works as a stop collar for the bit. If you're a machinist looking for a high end set of these blocks, this may not be what you're looking for, but if you're a woodworker, you will love these tools and you'll find all sorts of uses for them!

Great for Tool Setup
Bought these to set up my table and miter saw. Wanted something that was square on more than 1 edge and could be used for set measurements as well. Great little handy blocks that’ll do 1, 2, or 3 inches.
