Got this to hook up two batteries on my camperWhen it arrived it had no instructions for my intended hookup so I figured out a way to do itThen I Was going to review idea with my friend who is an EEThen I thought to go to Blue Sea Systems web site for supportI told them what i wanted to do and how I thought I should do itEmailed them they got right back, told me I was on the right track, and sent me wiring diagramThis switch looks rock solid but it is somewhat open so I will have to think about how to enclose it since I don't think I can just do an unprotected outside mountI chose this switch because I didn't want the switch that selects batt 1, or 2 or both since both might not work with car and camper charging system that was designed for only one battery

It's big enough to make sure you wont miss it that's for sure. Once installed, it fit right in with everything else. Used to keep my starter battery, which is SLA. Separated from my backup 200 AH LiPo. Now I can run all my accessories without having to keep the engine running. Very nice switch, smooth action. Nice but not too hard of a wall, when turning.

This is great. High-Quality. Does exactly what it should in a high-quality manner. Just know that it is huge! I was expecting something closer to 2.5" x 2.5" inches - and this is closer to 5" x 5". High-quality switch that I would recommend.

I order this battery switch but had to return it due to it's size and limitations. There is no option to remove the sides to make this battery switch lie flat. That was a big deal breaker for me as I was looking for something that laid flat for a console mount.

I used this in my camper van to switch the charging source between solar and the van while the engine is running. So far it’s working great. Only real issue was the terminals were huge and I needed to expand the existing ring connectors I had laying around. It’s a pretty big switch so make sure you have the space for it. It did not come with any screws to mount, so be prepared to have some available for your application.

Just what I needed for my DIY off grid elec. system to switch between battery/inverter power and generator. This is the quality that I was looking for.
