I just loaded this into my spinning reel. Smooth. So smooth we should probably add a couple of more “o”s to the word. Feels nice on my fingers and slick. I tied on a spin bait and walked outside. I took my rod back and casually flipped it out. Zing - over 100 feet. No effort, no muss, no fuss. I cannot say enough about how much I love this line. Thank you RUNCL for yet another awesomely priced awesome product.

The RUNCL PowerFlouro 6lb. line is great! Used for ice fishing and it was amazily strong, very thin and held up very well! Ice fishing can be very tough on your line due to fishing though a hole yet this line handled every fish with no problems what so ever. Highly recommended that you do some research on proper knots to use for flourocarbon type fishing lines. I had to learn a couple of new knots and that helped to prevent the knots from breaking right at the hook. I especially like the loop knot! I will be buying more of this line to use for other types of fishing!

When I first got this.. I thought they forgot the string! this is almost see through! I love it. the fish will not see this at all for sure! the quality is great ( i got 6lb line) and it was really hard to break. Its almost invisible. I will be buying more for my other fishing poles!

A friend recommended that I give this line a try so I gave it a go. I have now fished with it on two separate outing and it has worked okay for the most part, though I have noticed you need to make sure your knots are secure cause it’s a bit slippery. Some of the time it casts smooth but then other times it would get tangled and get knots from just casting and reeling in. Overall decent bang for your buck, I was able to spool up 3 reels for 10$ no too bad at all.Edit: After having this as my mainline for a few weeks, I fished it pretty hard and got some pretty nice salmon with it and it’s held up fine, good abrasive resistance. After sitting for a week and not using it, the memory is pretty intense. Still works okay though. Good leader material.

Strung up a new reel with the 16lb test. At this price I don’t feel bad about filling a whole reel! I recreated the line in a cup of water test against a competitors mono and this flouro coated line presents itself with a blurred edge that almost disappears into the background. Meanwhile the mono presents itself with a very crisp edge that makes the line very visible.Line strength is similar to the mono but much smaller. Plus when taking it to the edge of a sharpening stone the flouro coated line held up much better.I will be buying a roll of powerbraid next and using this as a leader for a lighter weight setup.

Appears to be quality line. I've had it on several of my ice fishing rods for a few outings now. No issues with excessive tangling and appears to go very clear in the water. No impression on castability yet as it's ice season. The good thing is there is plenty here to use for my summer rods too.

I purchased 2 spools of the RUNCL PowerFluoro 6 lb fishing line on Amazon for use with good quality ultra light rigs (Pflueger / Ugly Stick combo). Performance was horrible! So frustrating! Line has more memory than any line I've tried. Snagged and twisted at every attempt to cast in still water, low wind lake conditions. Fishing for rainbow trout which don't exceed 2-3 lbs and line would break (snap) on 50% of strikes! Worth noting is how impossible it was to tie on hooks, etc...line would slip out of several knots we tried. Read the reviews and thought this would be great line for light weight trout fishing. Wrong! Returned one full spool for a refund. Should have asked for refund on the first spool since I had to remove it from reels and toss into trash. As a result, wasted $20 and some very frustrating time out on the water. I would steer clear of this RUNCL brand. I went to Berkeley and the old standby, EagleClaw and have had no issues since. I hate fishing but love catching....with that said one thing I learned is to be stealthy and use light line. I recently used this and went on a Lake Of the Woods (MN and Canada border) ice fishing trip. This line caught a lot of walleys but an occational @sshole northern pike snipped it. Oh well, I'd rather catch a lot and loose one once in a while rather that catch one once in while and loose none. Buddies with leaders or spider wire didn't catch as much.

No sirve la linea, compre la de 16 lb ppr que tendria una salida de pesca y al sacar la primera de 800gr al subirla se rompio en el nudo, intente en varias ocaciones y en todas ellas se rompio la linea.

Es muy debil, aún siendo de 20 libras se rompe fácilmente en atorones y con la estructura, tuve un enganche con una lobina grande y se rompió al meterse en estructúra 🧐
