Grip wrap back-strap is a separate piece with "V" notches to aid installation and provide a nice user experience. Main wrap panel has "V" notches also added to aid installation and UX. New Slide Grabs for LH and RH slide serrations aid in slide racking and look Great. LH and RH offhand weak hand frame thumb spot - to reinforce proper hand and thumb placement. Granulate: is often compared/referred to as skateboard tape or sandpaper. It helps to maintain a positive grip on the firearm even when hands are wet, slippery, or greasy. Granulate texture is typically preferred for competition shooting or holster carry and provides the best grip enhancement. However, it may be uncomfortable during concealed carry or for those with sensitive hands. It can be made a little smoother by sanding it with 120 grit sandpaper. Installation is aided by a re-position-able pressure sensitive adhesive backing. This adhesive will leave little to no residue behind should you chose to remove the wrap. Lots of grip! Great customer service!
This feels exactly like the grip tape for a skateboard.Make sure that the product isn’t cold during install, and go slow. A little sun helped! It will be much more pliable and bend around curves much easier this way. A Hairdryer Is also needed for the last step according to the manufacturer.Lots of grip on the granulate grit model. Not a chance your hand will shift positions, in my opinion. I did lightly sand most of it, per the manufactures instructions, to my comfort level.Fit is pretty good appears to be laser cut.It came with the company logo, a small skull, made from what I believe is the rubber texture version also feels very nice and not as abrasive. I would like to try it but just installed this model so that will have to wait.It arrived with a small crease in the main grip the seller immediately shipped a new package to me after sending them a message. Would buy from them again!
