Destination Spanish with Paul Noble

Loved this easy to understand and master program. I made more progress with this fantastic program than with any of the things I tried in 20 years. It is however a Castilian Spanish program but still, wow, excellent.

Having bought both this and the Michael Thomas Start Spanish CD I must admit I find this one easier to learn from. It is very simple with only a few much repeated phrases on each CD but I have found that I remember them well and it gives me confidence to continue. PN says each phrase in English and a native Spanish woman repeats them twice in Spanish. For me this was far easier to understand than the other CD. I couldn't get past MT's sometimes thick European accent and found his students stumbling over the translations a distraction. yes this CD is simple and works on the principle of constant repetition but that's just what I need.

I was amazed how easy it was from the beginning to remember whole sentences! even my husband who is not very keen to learn languages found it easy to follow and he enjoys it. I would add a bit more vocabulary to the conversations because after 2 cd I feel it is not enough, but it is a short course, only 150min so to be honest it is a great start, we are considering to buy the whole course now. We cannot wait to start using it on our holiday next week!

I couldn't learn languages at school, the methods used didn't work, and it frustrated me as i hate to be beaten. After several holidays in Spanish speaking countries, and one more coming up, i decided to have another bash. After much research I plumped for destination Spanish and it was the best decision i could have made. I've had it 48 hours and can already speak more Spanish than in all the time spent at school. I thoroughly recommend this to anyone who wants to pick up the basics quickly.

Paul Noble's course is excellent. You find yourself speaking Spanish very quickly without much effort at all. I would definitely recommend this course to people who have struggled to learn a language in the past.

I bought this cd in preparation for a holiday in Spain and to be able to converse with my daughter who is learning Spanish at school. While it is superb for pronounciation and holiday-conversation, it is not for you if you want to learn the language with tenses etc. to be fair this was never Paul Noble's intention, it is, therefore, really good, pre-holiday prep.

This is really just a Spanish primer but constant exposure and repeating phrases does install fundamental language skills

I bought this CD because of the reviews I had read. I wanted something as simple as possible to start me off on my Spanish language journey and this product from Paul Noble is perfect in this respect. Admittedly once the second CD has been covered you are left feeling like you need more...but on the other hand I was left feeling confident and happy with what I had covered!This CD is perfect for learning the basics that you are more than likely going to need if you intend on visiting Spain and conversing in the native language and I whole heartedly recommend it! Especially if you enjoy eating out and vising interesting local sites like me :)

Really enjoyed working through these 2 CDs as they were simple and clear to follow. I was soon able to build basic sentences following the guidence provided and now feel confident of making myself understood when in Spain

I chose this rating because it was so easy to learn, I was saying sentences within days and understanding what was being said. I have since ordered the Paul Noble complete set and am still learning. You do not need pen or paper just your ears. Fantastic. Absence of interaction, lack of variety & overuse of words easily recognizable without a translation tool. Was of some help to provide confidence at a very basic level in a restaurant setting.

Brilliant and simple, I have always struggled to learn languages but these 2 CD's made the basics very simple, I now plan to move on to the more advanced CD's.

Easy to use, intuitive; my wife has been using the course and loves the way she learns as she goes along.

Learned so much with this course I'm keen to move on to a more detailed course, and I'd look for Paul Noble again.Excellent.
