Update from my earlier post.I originally posted 2 stars with the following comment."Fit and feel was excellent - I wanted to buy more but found a hole after second wash."The company contacted me right away and asked if I could provide more details in order to improve their product.After sending them a closeup image of the defect, they quickly sent me another pair and asked that I wear/wash them a few timesand then examine them closely. They stressed that they really wanted to market a good product. I am happy to say that the replacementhas passed the test. After the many years that I have purchased products on Amazon, this company offers, by far, the best customer service.This is such a great product and I am very glad that I can now provide a strong endorsement.

A well advertised brand (lets call them TJ's) are ridiculously priced so I found a few alternatives...these Clevedaur modal trunks and another brand found here on Amazon ~Terramar SilkSkins Second Skin. Decided to purchase both based on price and material composition (I admit I was also curious to see if one was softer than another). Both are fantastically soft, fit as expected (based off the size chart) and at a fraction of the bigger brand price.Spouse works 4days/12hr rotating shifts where he moves around a lot (walking,climbing ladders, loading rail cars, and loading trucks) and he says these don't bunch and waist band does not pinch. These have been washed several times and we haven't noticed any issue with pilling. No noticeable wear and tear despite the seemingly delicate fabric being worn under work pants. Hopefully they last a long while (only owned for about 2 mo.), if they do we will definitely be buying more in the future.For scientific purposes only I conducted a blind feel test. In my unprofessional opinion the fabric used by both brands are equally soft =)

Don't confuse these with mere cotton. Anything that I have seen that is comparable to these is almost twice the price. Great fit, and the material is uncommonly comfortable. This is true top of the line product and worth every penny.

These are the best boxer briefs I have ever had. I have been a stretchy cotton boxer/brief kind of guy forever, but always got irritated with how loose the fabric would get over time and how unsupportive they really we're when it came to keeping the goods in place. I found it most noticeable when working out or in a situation in which you are moving alot and you need extra help in keeping your crotch in place. The fabric on these boxer briefs is amazing it is like second skin and you barely feel them when they are on. Additionally, the support they provide in the "crotchel region" is amazing, snug enough to keep things in place but not tight enough to be uncomfortable. I purchased two more sets immediately after my first purchase to replace all my old boxer briefs. I have had them for over a month and have washed them several times and they still hold up. I will never buy a pair of old, cotton boxer briefs again, micro modal all the way.

Extremely comfortable. Feels like you're almost wearing nothing! I have Tommy John and Comfortable Club (now Bensly) and as of now, these are the most comfortable out of all of them. Don't get me wrong, I love my Tommy John's but the price is around 3x as much these, so I don't really see me going back to them unless these just start ripping or something lol. Having comfortable underwear is very important to me, as I can't stand constantly adjusting my boxers throughout the day. Great buy.

XL grey size, very soft comfortable material. love the color and the art style / design of the item. I'm a blue collar worker and work long hours but want comfort as well as quality.I've been super careful in the handling of these items since they arrived. I love them but am cynical they could survive a washing machine and haven't convinced myself it 's worth trying one to see how it will go so I've been washing hand style in sink with cold water and line drying. after having these a few weeks now I feel confident to write a review on them. in my hand washings of these it seems no real noticeable changes - the threading seems appear especially thick possibly to offset any future problems? I'm very impressed as i've only been wearing sport performance boxer briefs from adidas in recent years. I would recommend this product and plan to get more.

Bought these for hubby. He really likes the material... they keep him cool and dry even in our hot, humid summers here in DC. Last summer he was getting itchy from his cotton boxer-briefs, but he's not experiencing that itching with these. They also stay put better than his usual brand. His only complaint is the waistband, which he says can be a bit uncomfortable. They are also a bit smaller than expected in the waist (not enough to size up, but enough to be noticeable). If the band was softer or integrated into the fabric better he'd like them more, but they're excellent for the price and great for summer.
