Fantastic set of smart plugs. Bought these to use when we're away from home, especially when both cars are absent, to create the illusion of occupancy. Had returned one different set to Amazon, as although the app said the devices were found, they could not be programmed. However, this set is brilliant. No problem at all connecting to the right band of a dual band modem, my phone was connected to that via Wi-Fi to start with. Very swift and easy connection from each socket/plug to the app, then plugged a lamp in. Absolutely no problem setting up a series of on/off programs. I now feel my home will appear 'lived-in' as and when we need. Very happy with this product.

These are great and work well. However I had trouble setting them up, I have a dual frequency router and they wouldn't connect until I disabled the 5g. You can turn it back on afterwards and they work fine.

This was a great smart plug when I bought it. The only real issue is that the on/off button/light is too bright for a bedroom or dark TV room.I found it easy to connect to Alexa and voice control. I don't use the app features, I tend to do everything within the Alexa app which this does well.The only reason I don't buy these anymore is that you can now get the Teckin plugs which do the same thing but also allow you to monitor your power usage at the same price.You cannot fit 2 of these plugs next to each other in a power strip.I have a few of these and can't complain, I do think the manufacturer needs to keep on developing the plugs to keep up with competitors.So would I buy again or recommend, sorry but no, just because of no power monitoring function and status light way too bright. It is easy to buy better at this approx. £10 per plug price point.

Prime delivery fast excellent. Set up 3 pkt in 20 mins and linked to Alexa, plugged them all, downloaded the efamilycloud app, enabled the efamilycloud skill in the Alexa app, renamed them all. I can now voice activate lamps in three rooms, wonderful, no more stumbling about in the dark. Not bad for an arthritic old lady :)

I bought two lots of 3 of these (6 in all) since July and two have had problems. by which i mean they were working OK for a few weeks then all of a sudden they stop switching on and off. Alexa is getting the command to them as you can see the light change on command. However the on/off switch inside seems to have stopped responding. Luckily I had extra ones to replace them. when I tried to reset in original position they just didn't want to know. but If I set these up in a completely different location switching a different device on/off they worked again? I'm not sure how many devices you can have on a network i'm wondering if that could be the problem.

At first not knowing anything about working with these I found it very confusing but when I got them working they are great, I have most of my house working with lights and plugs now it only takes a couple of minutes to put a new one on and Alexa works well with them, great fun....

I was bought these along with an Echo Dot for Christmas. Im quite techy so was fine with setting these up myself. However, I must admit that it did take me ages to get them to sync with the efamily cloud app. I read the reviews and went into my BT router to turn off 5ghz as some people recommended but nothing seemed to work. In the end I did a factory reset of my router and synced them via the Alexa app on my computer (it didnt seem to want to do it through the mobile phone). After that they worked a treat.I have since bought more of these and the second set were recognised immediately by Alexa and the eFamily cloud apps without a hitch. i love that I can control lamps/radio/anything else you plug in while away on holiday or similar so that things switch on randomly using the app. Even from a foreign country! Looking to see about the light bulbs now! Oh and the price is excellent value!

Have had problems setting up and Alexia not turning on and off. And light ( as plugged into lamp) would turn on at 1am. Had to reset. No timer was set.But very useful for when I’m out late and away the lights come on and off.I also have one attached to my kettle. So when I get up I turn the kettle on and it’s ready after my shower.
