Sharwood's Tikka Masala Cooking Sauce 14.10 Ounces (Case of 6)

It was sauce. It went well with chicken, rice and sauteed veggies.

Tastes fantastic. I've tried (other brands) Ettouffe and Creole sauce, and this is by far the best tasting of the similar things. (Cooking for one . . .) I take half a jar, mix in 1/3lb+ of cooked Shrimp (or Chicken). (I cook the sauce by itself till bubbling for about 3-5 minutes, then add the shrimp and cook another 3 bubbling, then lowest to keep warm until the rice is ready. Overcooking the shrimp shrinks it, so time it to be done when the rice is done.) Serve over the smallest amount of rice from my rice cooker. (Or a microwaved bag of riced cauliflower.) It's a wonderful meal. I've added a tablespoon of heavy cream and it lightens and smooths it a bit, but it was wonderful without it. Do the same with the other 1/2 of the jar (from stored in the fridge after opening) and it's a wonderful 2nd meal 4 or 5 days later. Will definitely order again when these run out.

This is our favorite Tikka masala sauce, but whomever packed this didn't think to wrap glass jars in any kind of protective wrap/packaging. In the years I've been buying this product, this is the second time I've gotten shattered jars :( no bubblewrap, nothing.

This is great for a quick meal cooked with chicken and served over rice with sautéed garlic spinach. I like yellow rice or jasmine.

The sauce was good but I don’t think I prepared it right. I kind of threw it on my salmon in the oven. This is the kind of sauce that needs to be cooked and sautéed on a stove stop and then maybe broiled in the oven.I’ll continue to experiment with it a bit, but I think if I add some peppers, onion and garlic and let it simmer it’ll be really good!

I’m usually not a fan of pre-packaged sauces and foods, but after it took a whole day of making Tikka Masala from a scratch, I was happy to find a delicious alternative to keep in the pantry, for those nights when I don’t have the time, but want the dish. You’ll feel like you have an authentic Indian chef in your kitchen.

Been purchasing this for years from Amazon or Walmart, depending on the price. Love the flavors (I do add other spices if I have them on hand) I use as a marinade to oven bake, or as a cooking sauce in a pot on the stovetop burner. Both methods are great

I ordered a 6 pack of Sharwoods Tikka Marsala.2 of the six bottles were open apon arrival.The return policy states this is not a returnable or refundable item.Does this mean i'm just 'out the cost' of the 2 bottles ?I have ordered this product twice before and on every occasion the first order had broken or open bottles.I have pics if you want proof. I'm very upset this keeps happening. yours truly E. A. West
