Darshan Incense Cone Collection - Assorted Fragrances - 12 Boxes of Incense Cones, 120 Cones Total

I started burning incense to help me fall asleep at night. Its the whole pavlov's theory, When I am tired, I lit up a cone and smelled it. Then after a while, I associated the smell with sleep. Now when I light up an incense cone, I get all relaxed and snuggle into bed for a good nights sleep. The problem was, I ran out of incense!Since the first batch of incense I got was a gift, I wasn't sure where to buy them, or even what to look for. I found these on amazon, and decided to buy them. When I got them in, I knew instantly what they were, as there was a pungent smell coming from the smiley amazon box. I opened it up and pulled out the contents.The packaging for these incense is on the cheap side, and though there are 12 different fragrances, they pretty much all smell the same. The 12 fragrances come in individual little boxes and a small burning tray is included with each. It's a nice little addition, but they are just little tin coins. The smell is overpowering at first, and the quality of the cones are descent.. I'd say 1/2 of the cones are lopsided, and I was worried about this when burning them, but so far, have had no troubles.They do burn well, almost to the base, and fill the room with that incensey smell, we have all grown to know and love, in new age shops. Overall, I think the price is good for what you are getting. I mean, they are incense.. so....I would but these again, but I would probably look at the competition first.Pros:- Cheap- Come with Burning trays/disc'sCons:- Poorly made (they lean and some had the tops cracked off)- Fragrances all smell the same.

For years I used to buy Hem incense that is easy to find on Amazon. But somewhere along the line the manufacturers of their incenses quality control has gotten very sloppy. On average 2 out of every 3 cones just don't burn. You can relight them all you want but they just go out again. And its really too bad for Hem incense in my opinion provides the richest aroma of any incense I have tried. But the duds among them just refuse to burn has just gone over the top. In fact the last batch I had of them simply got tossed because I couldn't get any of them to work...I am now well into my 3rd box of this Darshan brand variety pack and am very pleased with it. Not a single dud yet. They burn very steady and evenly. And the aroma is very nice with the different scents being most distinguishable in my opinion. (Something reviewers of Hem incense used to complain about). As I stated before, I still prefer the strong fragrance of Hem incense, but they really have gone the way of trash and a rip off now as far as I am concerned. This Darhsan brand does what incense actually should, and the price of it is very reasonable compared to what I can buy incense here for locally. A good bargain on quality aromatic cones that I highly recommend.. : )

The scent it doesn't last

Was pleasantly surprised when it arrived - lots of different senses and variety and alot of them. Great value for the price.

This is wonderful incense. It lights readily, stays lit, and has rich scents.It lights almost too readily, giving out a good sized flame. I have to blow it out from the side, as I can’t get close enough from the top without burning my nose.I use the incense for morning and evening prayers, which last 20-40 minutes, and the incense hasn’t yet gone out before I was done.There is a lot of smoke but it’s not noxious. I am positioned just beyond the thick of the smoke, and the scent is actually better there.It is exactly what I want, for the way I use incense.

Beware of how STRONG this stuff is.I can burn Nippon Koddo Morning Star ALL DAY and not get dizzy or naseus or anything.I can burn Nag Champa Incense for about two hours straight before I get dizzy or get a headache.I can only burn this stuff for less than an hour before negative effects kick in.Good if you just want a short burst of incense, not recommended for long term all day use or for meditation.The scents provided vary in quality, but it will be a matter of taste which ones are good and which are bad. I personally found Opium and Money drawing to be the best, and Strawberry and Tangerine to smell like someone was burning down a smoothie shop.

These are really nice. They do take a while to light and would recommend using a lighter rather than matches. this is the second box and like the fact there not all the same ones as before. The first box came with many of them broken--the second box came in better condition. When you first get them they all smell the same its only when you light/burn them do they have their own scent. I would keep buying them. Wished they sold them separately instead of in a multi pack box. Still worth the price for the amount you get.

WOW,is the best word to use when you smell this incense. We have been using incense since the sixties & this is some of the best incense that we have e4ver bought.It is made by one of the top incense companies in the world & when you light a cone for the first time,you know why this company is one of the best.Quality incense for the price.Each cone burns for an unexpectedly long time. We have a large house & can smell this stuff in all rooms. Give this a try & you will be back to purchase more.
