Second one didn't work either....
I am writing this review for the second time because my first review from a few weeks ago was never posted. I received the mechanism and took the time to replace it in my clock. It didn't keep accurate time so I returned it for a replacement. Second one was received and the same issues occurred, it simply doesn't keep time. I would like a refund but I don't see this option when using Amazon's website (I don't want a to waste my time again with another replacement!). Look elsewhere for a clock mechanism -- the failure rate for the is horrendous...

I have a collection of clocks that I have converted to battery power. Motors are dependable and easy to install.

Lasted a few days
As mentioned in at least 1 other review, mine runs for a while then mysteriously stops until you remove/replace the battery. I tried different batteries with the same end result. Junk.

Defected clock movement
This product stops working. I keep changing the battery and it runs awhile then stops. I need a replacement it is defected. My window to get a replacement ended 3days ago which I did not know. Please send a new one I will send you the old one back

Perfect fit
Replaced old movement. Perfect fit. Hands are very snug fit on shaft and I would not advise re-positioning them after the first fitting. The hands would likely separate from the grommets. Red color of adjusting wheel is a nice touch.

My clock repair was successful
I was able to remove the defective movement and get the clock working again. My only tip: treat clock hands with care.
