Air Filter Does *NOT* Fit Deere LX255 with Kohler Command CV15
The air filter is of good construction quality BUT it is about 3/4" taller than an OEM filter (Deere AM123553; Kohler 208314). Due to the height, this filter will NOT fit a John Deere LX255 with Kohler CV15 Command 1-cylinder engine. The air cleaner cover fastener will not engage the threads mounted on the carburetor. Based on the reviews it appears to fit some applications but not all. Determine if your application can handle an overly tall air filter. The fuel filter is OK and the foam pre-cleaner is OK (though black does not show dirt as well as a lighter color will).
