Flambeau Tackle Single-Tray Tackle Box (Pink, 15x8x6.5-Inch)

First let me say I'm not an expert saltwater fisherman. I go out on a party boat every now and then and on a friend's boat like twice a year. I'm just a beginner, but I enjoy it so much that I can see myself getting really into it. Anyway, I was looking for something simple and inexpensive to store some supplies - like my fishing gloves, pliers, some hooks and sinkers, etc. I was also looking for pink...slim pickings.I came across this tackle box, and 3 stars is just flat-out fair. I read many reviews, ranging from it does the job to it being more of a toy. Here's my take:Delivery - on time, well-packaged, all pieces includedQuality & Durability - it's medium-grade plastic, so it's somewhat durable. If I threw the box across the room when it was fully closed and locked, it would most likely survive just fine with no cracks. However, if I threw it across the room while opened, the inside would probably crack because the tray and the inner lining seem to be thinner and poorer plastic. The tray is also tough to move up and down and the compartment dividers don't fit...so that's cheap. Minus 1 star.Functionality - going back to the fact that I'm no expert, this would do the job in the simplest sense for someone like me who goes out half a dozen times a year, is looking for something pink and cute because she's fishing for fun, and who has minimal equipment and supplies herself because she is accompanied by an expert. However, this tackle box is, in a sense, more like a toy rather than a real tackle box, and I can see how it is better suited for kids. The box is small and as an extreme, wouldn't be suitable for a lady like my aunt, who's a competitive fisherman. She would run out of room for her supplies really fast if she used this box, and it probably wouldn't last long getting placed on and off the boat with other stuff every weekend. On a lesser extreme, I cannot see this box as a tackle box for a fisherman in between me and my aunt either. Minus other star.Overall, this tackle box does the job for me, but probably not for many others looking for an actual tackle box.

I bought this for my daughter as her first tackle box. I wanted to get her something small that she would be able to carry (she's only 4) to put a few things in. I didn't want to buy her any sort of Disney character tackle box, since their interests are constantly changing, then they want another box. So this was "girly" yet neutral to age. It seems like it's pretty sturdy and the plastic is fairly thick. I worry maybe the hinges won't hold up well from an overly excited 4 year old, but I'll have to watch her with it. It came with some extra dividers, which is nice, and actually holds quite a bit of stuff!

My 6 year old Granddaughter has developed a love of fishing, so I saw this tackle box , and the amazing price and decided to get it for her. It arrived, early as always with Amazon and I took it out of the box and found a HUGE PROBLEM!!! I loved the box!! I knew it would make a great make-up case!! It's color is a perfect pink, it's much sturdier than you would think for the price, and I knew it was now mine, I'd order another for the Granddaughter !! So , it's now loaded with my makeup stuff and I just love it!! It's easy to carry and just so cute!! So, buy it for yourself or someone you love. It's a great product!!

My only complaint is that when you raise the lid, there's no mechanism in place that lifts the upper tray like a standard tackle box. You have to raise it manually. But it's cute, pink and will make a good make-up kit (prop) in a kids musical. The colors shown are pretty true.

Cheaply made, but wasn't expecting anything too fancy. It's very cute and a nice size. I can fit my tackle in the top shelf and pliars and other bigger tools in bottom without problem.

I really wanted a pink tackle box. Its pretty hard to find in stores with out "Barbie" plastered all over it. I was super excited when i found this! Even though it is only 1 tray it does the job! But i did find it hard to put in the dividers on the tray.

Was expecting something with a little more substance and I guess I didn't read the info because I thought it was coming with "some" stuff in it. Guss Grandpa will have to make a trip to the fishing isle.

This was a wedding shower gift for my soon to be daughter in law.It, along with the pink "ugly stick" fishing pole was the hit of the party.,And it is a very nice little tackle box.. She loves it :}
