Bought as joke to mess with friends and works amazingly

Very sturdy. The pocket clip is of a good grade metal and does not seem to be weakening. It appears that the key end is made of one piece of metal instead of having the metal catch notched in. The double lock pin is long enough to see when the key is being used (my old key had such a short pin that it had to be angled to the side to see the pin). The grip on the shaft is easily used even when wearing gloves. The package has the full lifetime guarantee on it.

I had a carbon-fiber pen-style key before - that key was tricky because sticky cuffs would cause the key to turn inside the handle. Eventually this resulted in my key breaking.I have not had that issue with this key and the pattern in the grip makes it easier to grip the keys with a tool if they should ever get stuck in a cuff.The extra length makes it much more convenient, especially for leg-irons and makes it much less likely to accidentally leave your pocket and the keys metal design means it "clings" loudly if dropped.

Great product but only one flaw, it doesn't open all cuffs.

So much easier than using the small keys on duty, especially with bigger hands
