works brilliantly as an IR extender and very easy to connect with the self adhesive are to attach. my only complaint would be the price, but I don't mind paying for good quality, which this definitely is.

Doesn't work with Xbox One
I also bought this for Xbox One as it's one of the few items listed as an "IR Emitter" which the Xbox setup guide instructs you to buy. The description details do say that this is an addon for some other kind of kit, but I can't imagine why it doesn't work as a simple IR LED for Xbox.

Not for Xbox
Now I have to be upfront and say that I bought this as an attachment for the Xbox One so that I could control my tv set-top box without Kinect. However, this product appears to be incompatible with the Xbox (despite it having the correct plug). It may well work for other purposes just not what I wanted it for.

Great idea product but..
Great product idea however when arrived it didn't work. Looking over the product with fine tooth comb looks like one of the internal HDMI pins might be flat and not making a connection. awaiting replacement unit will post feedback it works ok.
