KYX Racing Metal 96mm Piggyback Shock Absorber w/Internal Spring for 1/10 RC Crawler Red

Amazing shock. Crazy rebound. 6.7lb axial scx10 with alot of mods can fully compress shocks. But they are stiff. And a little longer than stock. Expect a small amount more clearance and alot abit stiffer ride. Works great for my uses this far. Bout two sets for two rigs. Will end up getting another for a bashing truck real soon. Kyx uses very high quality materials, had no issues whatsoever with the setup. Maybe a cap or two was a little tight. But that's just a dry o ring. Solid construction, not wobbly or sloppy at all. As always KYX gets another great product right! I filled shocks with 30w silicone oil and that added roughly 5g of weight to each one. Difficult to bleed, no instructions, or videos on how to do this. But it's the concept of removing air. It can be done a few ways, although can be quite messy. Adding oil makes shocks much more smooth and adds good resistance. Highly reccomend anything KYX for the most part. These shocks are no exception!

Just got these shocks in today and installed them in my redcat gen7. They look pretty good and seem solid. Only filled one with oil so far just in case they leak, but so far so good. Also noticed that the o-ring installed has just enough resistance to be as effective without oil. So might run the rest without...
