Great Material For An Oversized Doggy Door
Fantastic product, this is exactly what I was looking for to keep mosquitoes out and let the dogs in and out. Premade doggy doors were too small for my dogs and them bending down trying to squeeze through the doggy door each day was bad on their joints so I started thinking about how to make a bigger doggy door yet keep the mosquitoes out.The hardest part was figuring out that these things are called "strip doors" but once I knew what this material was called I discovered the IRONguard product. This kit was the perfect amount of material to make double strips for a doggy door that's 34" high and about 38" wide with enough to overlap the strips on both sides. I knocked out the original screen bottom and used heavy duty staples to attach the strips to the wooden frame, then I screwed plywood strips over top to make sure they stayed put. This material is heavy enough to return to its original position very quickly and is thick enough so that if you overlap them properly there will not be any gaps where mosquitoes can figure out a way in.

metal frame, junk - clear panels, nice quality
I purchased these to install on a commercial metal walk through 36" door. The instructions did not match the metal pieces included - something was not right or missing. And the panels, when hung on the metal frame with a single pin overlap, the least you can do, were not enough to allow for to go across the opening of the doorway!I was able to do some modifications with some odds & ends metal I had here, but not happy at all with it in relation to installing and instructions. Instructions and pictures (sketches) did not match what I was sent.Purchased 36" door kit for my 36" door. Evidently I should have purchased a 48" kit for my 36" door to get minimal overlap of the panels. So I am not pleased about that. The 36 inch kit frame with pegs for hanging the panels, is not enough for a 36" door.HOweVER, after my adding some metal and modifying, it does seem to keep wasps from flying into my warehouse while allowing mouse-killing cats (very necessary!) and dogs to come and go as they need to do.JUST THINKING WHILE WRITING this review - guess I will throw away their expensive hardware and just put up a 2x4 board at the top of the door. Pound in large nails to hang the panels on, clip off the nail heads and put a wood strip over the nails, screwed in place, to hold the panels in place when moved by humans or beasts.

Mold?
Hardware and strips were standard issue, nothing special. The problem that we have is that, about 6 months after we installed this product, the strips grew some nasty-looking film (looks like it could be a type of mold) that we aren't able to identify without a microscope and/or a Biology degree.Granted, we live in the South, and it's pretty steamy down here. However, the unit is on the West side of the house and gets some decent sun for a good part of the day. Whatever this coating is, isn't on the house or the door, just the strips. The replacement roll is $240+ ... uh, no? Not when we paid <$100 for the whole kit.We use this door throughout the day. Our dogs use this door non-stop. My concern is that whatever this film is, it might be a health concern. I have tried wiping the strips down with a mild eco-friendly product, but to no avail. Breaking it all down and hand-scrubbing the strips individually is NOT on my radar. Taking the unit down and tossing it out, however, is.Not thrilled with this outcome.

Mixed Review
Two of the strips when unrolled to assemble, looked like they were damaged in production (like melted together or something). So I returned it and wanted a replacement. Unfortunately the replacement was going to take too long so I switched to a credit. That said, for the short time I had it, I could see that it was going to do the job it was supposed to do, for a fraction of the cost of other similar products on Amazon. So it's a mixed review. I would probably recommend it if I was using it on a warehouse or similar. But for me it was being used in a residential setting and those damaged strips were not going to work.

WORKS
Worked perfectly for over the entry to an outdoor shelter. Keeps the heat in and the cold out!

Just what was needed.
Nearly perfect kit. Odd, two-part mounting bracket and no lag bolts for wood frame mounting. That aside, mounted, fit and works perfectly.

So far so good. Maybe the panels should be thinner
So far so good. Maybe the panels should be thinner. They are just to wide and difficult to get through.
