Great for PS3/PS4 controllers. Wii remotes perform poorly unless you're very close.
Bought this because it looked like a good way to get my Wii Remote working as an air-mouse for my HTPC (home theatre PC). The software is good, and it is intuitive enough to set up your button layout without having to look at the instructions, but going further than that is not as simple. When it comes to using a Wii remote, my only complaint is that unless you have the Wii Remote Plus (I have the non-plus), the mouse performance on it is really poor. I can tell that this is designed for using up close to a computer screen. I am using it about 6 ft away from a 40" TV (very close for a TV), and it only lets me control the mouse in the inner part of the screen. It doesn't reach the edges. If I move forward about 2 feet it works perfectly. It seems if you have the Wii Remote Plus, the Adamote software can take advantage of extra sensors to take over where the IR sensors stop working. It's nice that you can switch between button layouts, so I can setup 1 layout for using as a remote in Kodi/XBMC, and another for playing emulator games. But it isn't exactly the most user friendly process. Infront of a computer it would be quick, but from my couch, its a bit of a process. It would be great if you could load 2 layouts, and have a shortcut button to switch between them.So it turns out that the Adamote isn't really that good for what I wanted to do (use a Wii remote as an Air mouse for my HTPC), but the good thing about it is that it has support for something that will work better, the PS4 controller. It has the mouse touchpad, and gamepad controls. I could probably make everything work from one button layout.

Great tool for connecting to PC!
This thing is awesome. Worked perfectly with my PS3 controller with no lag. Controller syncs back up as soon as I hit the PS button on it to wake it up. Macro programming for buttons works well. Setup was a little non-obvious here and there, but the videos online are very good. Kept me from having to buy a couple of wireless XBOX 360 controllers to hook up to my computer.Note: If you have tried to hook up you controllers to a PC another way (motioninjoy etc.), make sure you delete any old drivers for those controllers. You will need to remove them before the controllers (at least the PS3 ones) will connect properly. And this works MUCH better than the motioninjoy drivers ever did.

Works as advertised, but...
Works relatively well as advertised. Mostly reliable when using B-Mode on Steam Big Picture. Some games in my steam library doesn't react so well with my synced controllers (Pro Controller & DuelShock 3) and sometimes takes some tinkering to figure it out. When a game does launch and the controller are indeed responsive, everything works out great. To get the experience you want and expect from a console on your computer might take some effort, but I say it's worth it, especially if you don't want to fork over $40+ for a 360 Controller.

Cool all-in-one idea but not super practical in use
The software's not good it crashed all the time on me and gave me errors in foreign languages. it's kind of pointless. Yeah you can connect a lot of devices to it for the price but it's still best to just get a USB hub, an infrared receiver and 4 Bluetooth adapters and use them to pair ps3/4 controllers or wiimotes.

Perhaps I just received a bad unit, but it was completely dead so back ...
I completely could not get this to work. Pressing the sync button did not have the effect described either in the manual or in the online video. Pressing the sync button had no effect at all on the lights. Perhaps I just received a bad unit, but it was completely dead so back it went.

Coolest Thing
I can not only use my wii remote as a mouse for my computer, but I can also use it to play my wii roms as well. It's really easy to set up too! All my friends are jealous that I have such a device for my computer.
