Ohh....the initial smell is bad...but it outgasses in a week
This item has been outside in my garage for 6 days now as we try to get the chemical/paint/rubber smell to dissipate. The initial smell was really bad and now I’d say it’s becoming acceptable. Hopefully a few more days in the garage will help it out. Overall this is a funny mask and we think it will work out. Zero star for the smell, 5 stars for the funny factor, and 3 stars for the $20 price for this cheap piece of rubber. Overall 3 stars. It would probably help to air these out in the factory for a few weeks before sealing them in an airtight plastic bag.

Fits small
This was fun for the Titanic themed party we attended but not very comfortable. I took it from the package to let it off gas (it smelled quite strong when I got it) for a few days. My husband and I both tried it and it fit pretty snug on us both. I’ll admit I have a big head, lots of hair and hats fit small but he wears an average size and has super short hair. Definitely worth it for a quick costume but some notes before you buy!

This mask was loved by all, and survived my underwater costume adventure!
I was the hit of the underwater pumpkin carving contest with my shark mask. Cant believe I stretched it over my Scuba gear, yet it returned to original shape after like it never happened, seriously good material. Then scared all the dogs with it at the office on Halloween, one still growls at me every time I walk by. Then made my VP double over in uncontrollable laughter as he walked around the corner and saw me waiting for the elevator. Success!

Well made, thick rubber. Realistic looking
Made very well. Only 4 stars because the rubber stinks pretty badly. Otherwise this is a very realistic looking option. Makes people laugh for sure.
