These are great tie-downs... They are heavy enough for light duty....Don't misunderstand, product is GOOD.... I just was looking for more weight down....

I've used several of these types of tarp clips. Boat covers, firewood stacks, etc.. but mostly in the yard. These are easy to use and seem to hold up fairly well. I can crank them up tight without stripping the plastic threads, big plus. Like most others, and tarps themselves, you would need many to make a very tight fit in order to travel on the highway with something covered. I consider all of these types of gadgets, fairly disposable. They break, get lost, left behind, pretty cheap and easy to replace. These are as good as any others in this price range.

I've gone through SO many pool cover clips that just don't work. Any strong wind will whip them right off of the pool edge. These screw tarp clips were just the ticket and my pool cover has stayed on since the day I put these on! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the screws are made of plastic and it's very easy to snap them if you overtighten. I broke the first one I installed, but then didn't overtighten the rest and they worked great.

Bought these to use hold a tarp on our outdoor sandbox. They work like a charm! Decent stretch and are super easy to adjust the length. Seem like both the cord and ball are decent quality, but time will tell how they will hold up to outdoor use.

Super handy items on a boat. So nice to be able to add a grommet anywhere you need one. Had several used to mount a shade sail in various places to block sun. But I'll be using these for many purposes for many years.

I used them to add to the edges of a pool liner so it would not blow off or fall in. I will be using these for other things like table clothes or stuff like a tarp that needs to be held down.

Works good for me could be bigger and weight more that's why I gave it 4.
