WILLGOO Updated Carrying Case For Apple Pencil Accessories with Rechargeable Same Lighting Charge Cable, Protective Function (Black)

I keep an Apple Pencil with my iPad Pro at all times, and have never really been comfortable when travelling with it — I usually put it in a pen slot in whatever bag I'm using, but I worry about damaging it. I got this case to try out, and I'm really pleased with it. It's solid but light, has the same minimal aesthetic as most Apple accessories, and is small enough to throw in my bag and take with me.It has slots for the various Pencil accessories, including the cap while you're charging the Pencil, the female-to-female Lightning adapter that's included with each Apple Pencil, and even a spare tip (which you also get with the Pencil). The case itself has a built-in battery that can charge the Pencil several times over (using your own Lightning cable and adapter from the Pencil's own packaging), and which can be recharged via the included micro-USB cable in a few hours.One thing I particularly like is that the black rubber lid of the case attaches magnetically, so it's effortless to snap on and peel off. It seems to hold securely, and hasn't come off in my bag. The Pencil also sits in the case without rattling around, but is easy enough to pick out of it.While I can charge the Pencil directly from the iPad's Lightning port too for quick top-ups, this case keeps the device safe when moving around, and lets me get a full charge without needing an extra cable or having the Pencil sticking awkwardly out of the side of the iPad.If you use your Apple Pencil a lot while travelling, I'd certainly recommend this case.

I'll start by saying that generally I'm pretty happy with my purchase for the cost. At the time of buying there's surprisingly few options for Apple Pencil storage and this seemed the best overall solution. So let's start with the positives. It arrived well packaged and feels pretty well built. It's nice and compact and has cut outs for the pencil itself, a spare tip, the USB adapter, pencil cap and the included USB to lightning cable. I like the built in battery for charging the pencil on the go, which works well for at least a full charge. It's just a shame the pencil can't be charged in situ whilst stored.On the downsides, as other reviewers have mentioned, the magnetic closure of the lid is far too weak and it will easily come off if the case was left rolling around in a bag. I would have preferred a conventional hinge and clasp. I certainly wouldn't rely on it to keep everything in place on the move. Personally I store it in a front laptop bag pocket so it is kept in place. Secondly, whilst the pencil, adapter and spare tip are easy to remove from the case due to an enlarged 'finger hole' at one end, the charging cable is another matter. The only way to remove that easily is to tip the case upside down, at which point everything else falls out. Again, I've found a solution by placing some tape around the cable to provide a tab with which to lift it out.So overall it's a decent case at a reasonable price, particularly when you consider that you get the added bonus of a power pack built in. Just a shame about the few details which let it down a bit.

This is an excellent piece of kit. If you intend leaving on a flat surface all the time - go ahead and buy, you won't be disappointed. BUT, if you intend moving around with it, in a laptop/iPad case or bag of any kind be aware, the lid falls off continually when at any angle. Everything inside, except the pencil falls out as a result. I'm reduced to wrapping it in an elastic band to use the thing. Serious design flaw - needs fixing.

I have been using the WILLGOO carry case for two weeks now and I'm pleased with how it functions. It is a far superior means of charging your Apple Pencil than the inherently risky method of plugging it into the bottom of the iPad and you get plenty of charges from a full battery.All of the Apple Pencil accessories fit neatly into their recesses and the lid is fitted relatively securely with magnetism. I did have one instance of the case opening inside my bag during transport but that may have been due to my heavy handedness as much as anything.A neat little product, both useful and good value with a couple of possible improvements.Pros:- Nice, simple design.- Plenty of charges to a full battery.- Good value.- Holds all necessary accessories.Cons:- Magnetic lid could be more secure.- Would probably look better in all white to match Apple Pencil as black lid suffers fingerprint marks, etc.- Charge lead is quite short.

I'm really surprised that the Apple Pencil doesn't come with a case. I had a look on Amazon and found this one. Initially I thought it was just a storage box, but when it was delivered I realised it was also a charging unit. This is a really neat feature because I'm always running out of battery on the pencil and I can just charge it with this quite gracefully.As for storage, I like that it has room for extra nibs, charging extensions and the pencil top cap when it's being charged. This now lives in my work bag next to the iPad in it's case and it's a really good addition to my paperless and remote office that I'm trying to incorporate.

My product was faulty and wouldn’t charge. I would have returned the item anyway as the design is awful. The lid for the case didn’t fit and just falls off. The spaces in the case for the accessories are terribly designed. You can’t get to them without tipping the case upside down, which is obviously a bit of a deal when the lid doesn’t stay on.UPDATE. After being refunded for my faulty product I received another today in the post free of charge. This one works fine. It charges perfectly and the lid stays on. The spaces for the accessories obviously hasn't changed so my update is 4* from 2*. I have not been asked at all to alter my original review, but I felt other consumers need to know how well the vendor has dealt with my purchase. Good job.
