Kichler 8" Outdoor Light Stake in Black Finish, 15575BK

Purchased this as a replacement for the original stake that was installed by our landscape contractor. The stake cracked due to a dog running into the path light. I do appreciate that the stake gave way before the $200 path light.

Very sturdy and the perfect replacement to repair a broken stake within our landscape lights, which we were able to diy at half of the price that a lighting company wanted to charge us to have it repaired.

Sturdy abd easy to ibstall

I own 2 of these.Each replaced a failed ground stake.This is larger and deeper than most others.It has a broad lip so you pound into the ground more easily.Highly recommended.Makes a great Mother's Day gift.

Unlike other stakes I have used, this one has a gap in the upper ring which allows your lighting fixture's wire to be slipped through. (Stakes without this feature require you to detach your fixture's wire, run it through the ring, and then reattach the wire to your fixture.) The downside of this stake is that it is not as long as others and does not seem to insert into the soil as securely.

Used to replace broken stake for Kichler landscape lighting.

Tried to find the base of my outdoor lighting and it was easy to find on Amazon. This is not a flimpsy stake. It is very durable.

Easy to pound in the ground to use with my low voltage lights. I have used this product for many years to add lights or replaced old stakes. I found it helpful to use a small block of wood to lay on top of stake and pound with a rubber ballet. Less stress on stake while pounding in ground to prevent it from cracking.

I needed a replacement for a broken stake and this was it.
