Russbe Perfect Seal Leak-Resistant Bento Box, 1.6 quart, Bone White

This was my second purchase of this box. The first one eventually cracked (the top lid) after a few months. I ended using it for a few weeks despite the crack, and it didn't leak somewhat solid foods like pasta and rice, but I decided not to wait until it did.I really like the flat shape, as it is easy to fit in my messenger bag. The clamps on the side go almost the entire length of the rim, which means you have an additional safeguard in case there's a leak. The rubber vent hole is very tight, although I always pack with the hole at a high position just in case. After probably about 100 uses, it never leaked.The stopper is a great feature. I used to microwave foods with the lid balanced on top, but this would sometimes result in hot water condensing on the lid and dripping off the side on my hands. This one lets pressure escape without opening the lid, so no dripping outside the box. Very convenient.There will eventually be some staining, more with certain foods. I figure this is an inherent problem with any box, so I just consider it normal wear and tear.

I used it for lunches at work. Packed my leftovers. Or a salad with protein. Easy to clean. Very impressed by it’s quality.

I love this container. We have used it for half of a school year now and it has shown no wear. It washes easily in the dishwasher and there are no small areas to collect grim. It's very sturdy and well-made.My 6 and 8 year olds do not love this container, however, as there is a small gap between the compartment dividers and lid which allows small food - think cheezits and other small crackers - to mix in the other foods. This doesn't bother me but I'm not the one using it.

So we’ve been through 2 of these in my family and I’m not going to purchase a 3rd. They’ve each cracked in the exact same place—where the clasp on the lid interlocks with the bottom—and I’ve tried gluing them back together with little luck. I like the design and I love the bento concept for kids’ lunches; I actually find the little wells the perfect size for packing Kindergarten lunches and this one is pretty easy to clean. The plastic just isn’t strong enough to withstand the rigors of frequent use by a (relatively careful) kid. I’ve watched him dismantle it a few times and he’s doing it correctly. Disappointed.

Works as planned.

These are generally good lunch boxes - similar to a bento box. It helps keep your food organized.But the cover has a seal on it that is prone to leakage. I bought 3 of these at once and they've all started leaking.I wouldn't recommend them - better to get something that makes a better seal.

I really like the design and the seal, but this broke within two days of buying it. Would not recommend.
