Bio logical media is most important for this filter
The media could not be loaded. After using 1 year ,it is in perfect working condition.It is best for 4-5 feet tank. We need to add some bio logicial media.

POWERFUL MACHINE, WITH LARGE SIZE ACCESSORIES.
A VERY POWERFUL MACHINE. I HAVE A 170 LITER PLANTED TANK. 48 *15*16. INITIALLY I WAS USING A 650 LIT/HR SOBO INTERNAL FILTER. THE WATER QUALITY WAS BAD. AFTER READING THE REVIEWS I ORDERED THIS. IT WAS TOO POWERFUL FOR THE TANK. ALL THE FISH AND PLANTS WERE GOING HAYWIRE. IT WAS JUST CRAZY INSIDE. DUE TO THE FLOW OUTPUT. I HAD TO INSTALL AND MAKE A DIY SPRAYBAR TO REDUCE THE FLOW OUTPUT. ALSO THE TOP BOX WAS PRETTY BIG. 5 INCHES HEIGHT BY 1 FEET LENGTH BY 4 INCHES BREADTH. I HAD TO INCREASE THE HEIGHT OF THE TOP BY MAKING ANOTHER DIY WOODEN TOP.AFTER ALL THIS EXTRA WORK AND INSTALLING THE PRODUCT, MY WATER IS CRYSTAL CLEAR. I USE BROKEN BRICK PIECES AS BIOLOGICAL MEDIA AND SPONGE AS MECHANICAL MEDIA.I ALSO GOT LUCKY AS I STAY IN DELHI AND SUMMERS ARE PRETTY HOT,THE SPRAYBAR CREATES GOOD AGITATION ON THE WATER SURFACE AND KEEPS IT COOL.I MAY NOT HAVE MADE IT IF THE MACHINE WAS LESS POWERFUL.

The media could not be loaded. Received filter in perfect condition. It's working is fantastic. Gives Strong flow in the water and no noise. The suction is also very good. In few minutes aquarium will get completely clean. It keep water fresh and clean for many days and no need to regularly clean aquarium again. But only for 4-5 feet aquarium. Below that not suitable as it water force is very high. Only use in big aquarium. 4-5 feet perfect for this. You can blindly go for it.

Amazing powerfull 40W filter, Best for 3-4 feet tank .
I am giving 3 start because I received the broken piece from the motor parts but rather than returning it i fixed it with fevi-quick, So not always all people did this kind of thing with new one so the amazon or the seller must look of his product quality otherwise our trust with amazon will washed away.Last but not the least product is superb but the seller or amazon product quality must be checked before delivery.

Might be too powerful
Everything arrived in good condition. Working well. The flow was too high and I improvised a DIY spray bar with garden hose pipe to distribute the water evenly without disturbing the plants.The provided expandable hose for the top filter box was shorter than expected, but can be replaced easily. Hope this works for a good number of years.
