10M/100Mbp Passive POE Power Over Ethernet RJ45 Injector Gigabit Splitter Adaptor with 2.1mm x 5.5mm DC Connector

The price is right and it's small.I am using this with a Reolink RLC-420-5MP dome camera. It works great at 24v.I'm sure this is the fault of the camera and not this adapter, for some reason, I can power the camera directly via its little 5.5x2.1 plug at 12v, but to power the same camera over POE with this injector it requires 24v. At first, I thought this injector was broken, but I tried a 24v supply and it works great. So be aware that you may need more voltage than you think for whatever device you are trying to power.

These PoE injector blocks work great, but I have trouble with the cover coming off. Wrapped it a couple times with electrical tape and problem solved, but still it'd be nice if it stayed together on it's own.

I grabbed a 5V adapter for this, plugged in, light turns on, but no power is passing through. I have a POE enabled camera but it doesnt power it. Should have just gotten a better one, was just trying to use it for a short time until I got a POE switch.

product would only provide power to the needed device for too short of a distance. Not a good resolution for this situation.
