3.7V 1000mAh 703048 Lipo Battery Rechargeable Lithium Polymer Ion Battery Pack with JST Connector

This battery was awesome. I have a waterproof Bluetooth speaker that only lasted for an hour and I took it apart and took the cheaper battery out and replaced it with this one by soldering it on the circuit. Now it last plus 4 hours on a charge full volume.

Product arrived on time and nicely packaged - unfortunately it appeared to be of such high quality that I neglected to check how the jst plug polarity was wired before attempting to power up my new project. My project components got extremely hot to the touch (as did the battery), I disconnected the battery and discovered the jst +/- pins were reversed.This seems to be a fairly common issue among many manufacturers, some have been proactive and rectified the manufacturing mistake (I have to ask, do these completely assembled battery packs go through any manufacturing test before shipping?)The end result, my new ~$45 e-paper board is fried, so buyer beware!Note, its possible to reverse the polarity of the plug if you notice the issue BEFORE connecting it.Very frustrating!

Well it’s definitely not a screen protector. It’s a battery and not for any cellphone. I thought it would fit in my baby monitor and it definitely does not. So it’s a waste of money but not worth returning
