The media could not be loaded. Upgraded from a 13 mini. I was sad to see apple has discontinued their leather cases. Did a lot of internet research on a good leather case and decided against the popular ones to give ridge a try after having one of their leather wallets. I am very happy with it. I decided to go black due to the fact the bezels and sides are plastic (Not a bad thing in my opinion and I’ll explain why). I would’ve went with brown if the entire case was leather. Didn’t like the mix of brown and black personally. The sides being plastic is definitely a plus because I have went through many apple leather cases due to the fact the corners would always tear and rip due to being leather. Yes $50-$60 is a lot for a phone case but the plastic sides will definitely save money down the road due to not having to replace it nearly as often. The leather seems to be great quality. I saw the other guys review of the brown one having wear and tear after not having it long which is a bummer but I’ve had the leather wallet for a year and have dropped it many times and it does not have damage so I’ve personally been very happy with ride quality and would recommend to anyone looking to replace apples discontinued leather cases with this one. Also, camera cut out is actually great. It’s not a giant hole, it’s curved by the camera button and feels really nice against your finger when you press it. Overall, ridge exceeded my expectation being just as great of quality as apples leather cases. Apple leather wallet fits just as good as it did in apples leather case. I also purchased apples silicon case to see if I would like it. The camera button cover was sweet but I’m returning it due to my happiness with ridges quality.

This is the best feeling phone case I’ve ever owned. I love the look of leather cases, but those I’ve tried in the past either felt like plastic or didn’t hold up to use. What a great product. I’ve always used Apple’s Silicon Case, but no more. Works seamlessly with mi iPhone 15 Pro. Very sturdy and well built. Just note that if you have used silicone cases in the past, this case is a little slicker. But for one that keeps his phone in his pants pockets at work, this is a welcome change.

**Update** So I’ve been using the case for a few months now and am not impressed with how the leather is holding up. At first it was great, had a great feel and the look of it on the phone was perfection. As we’ve moved into the winter season, the phone case has been in and out of my jeans pocket. I always make sure to never put anything else in my “phone pocket” so what you see in the picture is strictly caused by the denim or the pocket lining. I know that leather will get wear marks and I’ve had leather cases in the past that get them and that adds character to the case…but this seems different and is more of a smudge like look. I would expect better from Ridge especially with how well their wallet has held up for me. Maybe I just got a bad case…but sadly it doesn’t look good anymore and has drawn more attention for it looking bad and getting remarks like ‘what did you do to your case?’ when all I did was have it in my pocket…*Original* I had been browsing for a leather case for my iPhone for a while. Since Apple stopped making them, finding a quality case has been a chore. I already had a Ridge wallet that I’ve had for a couple years and it’s held up great! Looks just like it did when I purchased it..so when I saw they made leather phone cases for iPhone I was ready to buy one. Checked to see if Amazon carried it and they did, so I ordered one. Have used it a couple weeks now and I’m very satisfied with the build quality and also the overall quality of the leather. It feels good in the hand and isn’t too bulky or slippery. So far, so good.

I have multiple Ridge products and wanted to add to the set. This case was sold out on the Ridge site so I checked Amazon. It was less expensive on Amazon, too. So I went for it. Nice slim profile. Slips in and out of the pocket easily, but not “slippery” like hard plastic. Really nice buttons. Good clicks. Looks nice. Kinda classy looking. Not sure how one could verify it’s actually made with aramid (Kevlar) fibers. But it looks good. I’m sure it would provide some protection on a drop, but it’s definitely not as substantial as an Otterbox Defender case. Had a nice matte finish until I started handling it. Fingerprints show up easily along with oil smudges. Not sure I could keep it clean if I wanted to. A bit overpriced for the quality, but it will be on my phone for a long time.
