I have 3 cameras, all different brands. This is not the cheapest. Sadly the night vision is not so good. The dome fogs up as soon as it switches to night mode, although it is perfectly clear during the day. My other dome camera never fogs up at all but that is probably because it has more than 2 infra-red lights. Sadly because of this I would give it a miss and get one with better IR capability.

I’ve installed this camera only a 3 weeks ago, but I am extremely impressed with it, i was a bit worried how will cope with the extreme weather conditions here in Scotland but seems ok so far. I had a bit of an issue because it doesn't come with power cable or any sort of power supply so this was a little bit disappointing and I had to buy it separately so I was not happy at all. If I buy a whole IP cam system, I would expect to contain everything I need. Other than that, the camera seems well built, the housing and the dome is made from durable plastic, arrived with all necessary hardware to install (except the power cable). If you happy with 1080p via H.264 then this 2.0MP version will be perfect but if you need a bigger resolution than go with at least 5MP camera. For me this one is more than enough as i only have a small garden area to secure. The video quality is good enough, but be aware this one will not record audio. It has all the usual features such like pan, tilt and zoom and with the 3X optical zoom, you can see further details. The setup is a little more complicated for an IP camera compare to a WIFI camera but if you familiar with IP settings and you understand how IP and Gateway works than it will be easy. If you stuck just go through the User manual will help you a lot. Just set your computer’s IP address to 192.168.1.25, and then Ping the camera’s IP address, which should be 192.168.0.200 (see the label on the side of the box to confirm the IP address). If Ping returns a connection, point your browser to 192.168.0.200 and login with username and password, both of which are “admin” (no quotes, all lowercase). I would suggest to change the log in details to keep your system secure.Does this camera work as advertised? Yes, but the missing power cable is disappointing. Will I buy more? No. Would I recommend it to anyone wanting to use a PTZ camera? Yes, especially if you looking for something budget.

This is my first experience with this type of network camera, although I do have other security camera in the house. So, I was interested to see how this one performed again those.In the box you get the camera, mounting screws, connector housing and mounting screws. Unfortunately, I did not realise this did not come with s power source and had to buy one of these from Amazon UK.There are two connections on the cable that comes out of the camera. One is for the power supply, the other is an Ethernet connection. I connected both of these up and could see the camera lens moving around as though it was setting itself. So, I know it was functioning.In the instructions there is a QR Code that take you a download page on the web, where you can download the software. I downloaded these and followed the set-up process.One piece of software enables you to see what the camera is seeing and has a load of other functions build in e.g. pan/tilt, rotate, zoom in/out, record/playback, etc., etc.Although the camera was registered, as per the instructions, in this software, I was unable to get any image from the camera. I tried multiple times, including deleting everything and starting again, researching the issue on the web, etc. All to no avail. After spending a good 2-hours trying to get it going, I gave up. For reference I was using with Window 10 and tried a number of different web browsers including Chrome and Microsoft. I will also say that I am not a tech novice and know something about what I am doing.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative and useful. Thanks for reading.

Maybe this camera is good, but unfortunately I received it without a charger and I can’t test it without a power cable. And my question is: How, for this price they sell a camera without a power charger?! Don’t waste your money with this product
