4.0 x 2.0m (13ft 1in x 6ft 7in) Papillon Fern Natural Garden Fence Screening Roll Privacy Border Wind/Sun Protection

The delivery of this screening was incredibly quick, and you do get a lot for your money, but when it arrived it was packaged in very thin supposedly ripstop plastic, tied together with nylon ribbons. This had been ripped in several places and I could see that there was damage to the screening. I realise that this is a tricky product to transport, but I think better packaging would help stop it being damaged. I know that this type of product gets damaged very easily, as even the bamboo ones in the shops, are always damaged.Yesterday I laid it out on the lawn, and the first thing that struck me was that the fern pieces were much more widely spaced than on the Amazon photograph (see my photos). My previous screening was bamboo, and I had the same problem, so had to double it up for it to be private. I would say that this screening is even more spaced out, so you would definitely need it to be doubled up. The damage was easy to see, although thankfully, nothing major. The wiring that is holding it together is ok, but where it ends, all the ends of the wire had to be tied up by me, as they were just left sticking out. The wire is also extremely close to coming off on the bottom of the screening.I can't testify to the longevity of this screening as I have only just got it, and it hasn't even gone up yet. Overall, I would say that it is no better or worse than the bamboo screening, although I personally like the colour better on this. I don't know how the colour will be once it's been weathered.NB: if you are planning on cutting this into sections at all, then you will need wire snippers and some kind of fine wire. There isn't enough wire in the screening to prevent it coming undone, once it is snipped. Once it is snipped, the pieces of fern come out very easily, so you have to be really careful....and have some plasters on hand too!

Received this screening promptly, but it looked nothing like it did in picture. It was also very much less substantial than I had hoped. Seriously, you can see right through it and it wouldn't screen anything. I wouldn't have bought this if I had seen it first! I have contacted seller (Primerose) twice by e.mail to return, but no response yet.

I can't submit my photo of this item for some reason!? The quality of this product is appalling! Two more words needed to describe this item..diabolical & dreadful!

excellent does the job.

Wish i'd found this before wasting money on my first one from B&Q. It's a lot cheaper, a better quality and the wire is coated in brown (unlike B&Q's which is silver and obtrusive). Delivery was on time and no problems
