I was disappointed and requested a return but thought I would give it another try. It took me a few more trys but with each attempt it was clear it was the user not the product. I can't believe the battery life! I continue to practice and it is getting easier. I have never had a dog that needed to be clipped until two years ago. It is expensive to go to the groomer so I have been determined to do this myself. My dog is very much less than cooperative! I highly recomment this product and understand the comments that it didn't work. If you are new to this as I am it takes practice but the product itself is great.From experience, my dog has A LOT OF HAIR so unless I am shaving him I have to first cut his hair with the scissors before using the attachments for a smoother look.Good luck if you are new at it and hopefully you have a cooperative furry friend.But the clippers are great and I would buy again.

I was worried that this set would be cheap due to the price and I was right. The comb is nice, I haven't needed the nail file or clippers yet, and the scissors are not great. The scissors require you to actively put inwards pressure on them, otherwise hair fits in between them and they just bend the hair when you cut. Typical of cheap scissors.As for the main product - the electric trimmer. It is nice overall. My dog has horrible anxiety and hates the noise of clippers. We had been training 5 times per day to get used to the sound of my human clippers in anticipation of these arriving. These are much quieter and she reacted way better to being around these than my human haircut clippers, so that was a huge plus to these! I'd recommend them for other anxious dogs with easier coats than my mat-prone labradoodle.The downside is that these are clearly not professional clippers. They overheat very quickly (please test the heat constantly if using without a guard. I make sure the metal is cool enough to rest on my own face before touching the dog with it) especially on the high setting.The biggest drawback is they are so slow at getting under tough mats. Professional clippers slide right under them in seconds, these move slowly and if the guard is on get clogged quickly. From getting hot too quick, combined with my dogs anxiety and how slow these are this groom is turning into a 16 hour project over 2 days. With real clippers I think I would have been done in two hours. I am going to finish with this set but I wish I would have shelled out the 150 bucks for an Andis or Wahl that would have saved my pup and myself a bit of agony.

We purchased these to use on our Cocker Spaniel puppy. They are very well made, quiet and come with a nice accessory package. They are also much quieter than the plugin ones we currently have. I would highly recommend this product for an easy to use way to keep your pet nice and trimmed. I turned them on and let them run for a few minutes every day for about a week so she could get used to them before attempting to clip her muzzle, and she did very well adapting to these clippers with the exception of trying to eat them!

I was very surprised that these clippers performed so well. I started with the wahl pet pro but those gave out on me so I finished with these and I wish I would have just used these the entire time. Love them. I'll probably order another set... my son was a big helper. NOTE: if you expect these to be like a $300 dollar professional clipper you will be disappointed but if you know your getting something cost efficient and that itll take you longer but work great then these are good for you.

Clipper worked very well. However, the scissors are very poor quality and couldn't be used.

I’m no dog groomer, but these worked great to give my Maltese her summer cut. Why pay $50 when you can skin her down yourself? Took a little practice to figure out the right amount of hair the blade can handle. I noticed no pulling of hair and the clippers were quiet. Good buy!

I was missing some parts and returned ,ordered the same thing again, according to the presentation the box should have contained Scissors, comb etc, I was realty disturbed, anyway eventually I found out that there was a bottom layer,hidden with the items, luckily did not throw the box away.. Very patient and helpful suppliers, did not loose their cool with me, very grateful.

They seemed to get stuck in my dogs fur when I tried to use the longer guard, but the short guard worked great. They aren’t super noisy and didn’t seem to bother my dog. Saved me some grooming money for sure.
