Not a bad price for yarn that contains wool
The reason I have only given this 4 stars instead of 5 is because I have not knitted with this lot yet. I have used Mariner DK yarn before and not found it to be a problem. The price of this wool is very reasonable, considering it does contain 25% wool. All Acrylic yarn tends to suffer from pilling which is why I like to have some wool in the yarn (does not seem to pill if there is some wool in it). Previous reviewers have said that they found knots in the wool - I cannot comment on that yet, but I have purchased more expensive wool which also contained the odd knot.Mariner DK does knit up quickly using 4.0 to 4.5 needles - and I am told that the jumper I previously knitted with it, is warm.

Perfect Denim effect.
Love this Denim effect yarn, knits well NO knots like other purchasers either. Knitted a Honeycomb infinity scarf goes with everything!!!

Marriners quality and value
Very happy with this wool, it has knitted up beautifully into a sweater for my husband. It has quite a rustic quality ideally suited to men but I think could be just as attractive for certain women's patterns. Marriners service is excellent and the wool is very good value and quality.

Constant Knitter
