These stayed put in my ears while I slept. I toss and turn. I stayed asleep so I'd say the noise reduction is very good. I have a housemate that can mumble during the night, which can keep me awake. I didn't hear it. The only thing is that my ears did feel a wee bit sore in the morning. I prefer these to the foam plugs that are comfy but fall out easily though. I really like the included travel case too, fits in your pocket.

I got these for my adult son, who has a number of sleep difficulties. He has tried several types of "disposable" ear plugs to wear for sleep, especially while traveling. Several are simply too large, as he seems to have unusually small ear canals (for a man?). The ones that do fit, rarely stay in all night, and move around when one changes position. These are not like that at all. he was afraid they would be "plasticky", inflexible, and uncomfortable, but these are not like that at all. They are a pliable silicone material and the different size 'tips' (easy to change out) make them work for many different sizes and shapes of ear canals. They block sound quite well, and have helped him in blocking out barking dogs, trash trucks, booming teenage music outside, and more. I even got myself a second pair, in another color.
