Was looking for a replacement carbon filter for a jumbo Catit litter box, one that didn’t cost $5 per filter. While these are not exactly the same size, they are easy to trim and a bit thicker than the OEM filter that came with the litter box. I’m hopping the added thickness yields even more ofar absorption. Overall, I would purchase again.

I have a Petmate Litter box that uses charcoal filters in the hood. My grocery store suddenly quit carrying the filters that I need. These sounded like a reasonable replacement, so I took a chance. They are somewhat uneven in thickness from one filter to the next. One reviewer said they are way too thick to fit in their litter box. I had to cut the width slightly to just under 5.5 inches to make it fit but it is easy to cut and the thickness is no problem for my brand of litter box.

My cat's litter box is in the basement in my home office. He's 17 years-old and makes a lot of "grandpa poops" which stink the place up. I'll be on a conference call and suddenly get a blast of cat stink... not fun. I used these in conjunction with a small cabinet fan to build a custom litter box that sucks the air out through the top of the litter box through a stack of these filters. It's really amazing how well it works. Now I find I have to check his litter box much more often because I can't tell when he's pooped and it needs to be scooped.

These filters fit my Catit Jumbo Hooded litter box almost perfectly. They are the same thickness as the brand made especially for this box, look identical in appearance and these come with a much lower price tag. I only had to round off the corners with scissors and cut a very thin strip off the end to make it the perfect size for this box. It's very easy to cut. Glad I tried these because I have 3 jumbo litter boxes to keep supplied with filters. The filters do an amazing job of helping to reduce odor so I make sure I never run out. Glad I tried these and will continue ordering as needed.

These filters are almost twice as thick as the ones I replaced. I had to use needle nosed pliers to get them into the holders. I broke one of the slats on the litter box getting them installed. I would have returned them but I had already cut 2 of the to fit the width of the openings for the filters. In addition, one of the filters isn’t even in depth across the filter sheet. It’s got about 6 channels that look like something hot & heavy pressed into the filter causing it to compress. I just installed 4 of them in 2 litter boxes & they have helped reduce the odor slightly. I had to clean up a significant amount of charcoal dust after installation so I am hoping this means they will adequately control odors.

I usually order a thinner version of this filter but ordered this filter in error. With that said, I will continue to order this filter. It took a minute extra to get install but the extra material just added to the odor control. I always have to trim to fit the holder so for an extra few seconds, it's worth it

I purchased these for cat box litter replacement filters. I do cut them down to the appropriate size for each box. It's very easy to do and these are very effective in eliminating the litter box smell.

So... the thing is, I cant smell, but my wife can. The filter for our kitty litter box had been around for far too long, and my wife kept complaining about the smell, even after a couple of days. I finally got this product and replaced the filter... Now, Happy Wife, Happy Life!
