Good 12 volt charger or emergency or camping power kit!I live off grid with solar and wind power and we have cold winters so I wanted a portable unit for keeping my truck and tractor batts charged and for other 12 volt projects I use around my cabin. This unit works great and has a nice controller with idiot lights and good thick wiring and clamps.I also take this along for camping to run 12 volt gadgets and would be useful in a power outage for emergency charging.

Works great. I use it to recharge the battery that runs a heavy 12V motor that waters my garden. The battery was always charged completely every day.

Bought it in February and it worked great initially. Today checked it and the controller was partially melted and system not working. Product not eligible for return and can not find any contact information online for technical support to replace the controller or to find out why it melted/warped. Was using it to charge an RV battery. Does anyone have customer support phone number?

I have been using this product to keep the battery in my car charged up as I do not drive it much anymore. This product is best for 12 volt lead acid batteries. It will not overcharge a battery because it senses the state of charge and will automatically go from bulk charging to float charging when the battery if fully charged. It uses a single LED indicator lamp that tells you what you need to know.Solid Green indicates bulk chargingBlinking Green indicates float chargingSolid Red indicates no chargingBlinking Red indicates battery lowDo read the instructions fully before using as you can damage the solar charger or battery if you connect it incorrectly.As indicated in the instructions wrong connections my cause sparking or explosion. Batteries emit hydrogen gas which is explosive.Do not connect while engine is running, do not start engine with it connected. It is not designed to provide jump starts.This product produces about 3 amps maximum charge rate which helps extend battery life.

Not all of this solar charger is waterproof. The led indicators could be a bit brighter since you'll have this in sun. The indicator for correct connection is bright enough but the indicators for needing charge and charged are not bright enough. Overall it is easy to set up and does work as expected.

This unit is not putting out anything and will not charge any of my batteries no matter how much sun it gets.

these work great I have now purchased 2 of these. One powers the solar system on my chicken coop for the power door and lighting. The other keeps the batteries on my RV charged. At first glance the price seems a little high, but when you consider it has everything, the adjustable rack, the charge controller etc. It's worth it. All you need to supply is the battery/batteries. I will make note that the leads are 18 feet long, which worked out great when hooking it up to my RV.

Arrived I good condition although the packaging was skimpy. The box containing the panel was inside a larger box with almost no protection. Could have been broken with rough handling. Thankfully Fed-Ex did a good job. Panel works well. Very easy to hook up. My travel trailer has an entertainment center that draws power even when it is turned off. Solar panel is keeping the deep cycle battery charged. Very happy with this.
