Any smart home device will only be as good as the infrastructure supporting it. The "Kuled" app that the box tells you to download is straight trash. At first, there was a widget. I place the widget onto my home screen with my other apps and it just says "Loading" forever. So I have to go into the app, select the outlet i want, and then turn it on or off. It would be nice to have a shortcut to my two outlets on my main screen, but I figure I'll have to wait for them to update the app.10/16/2018 Update: The app has been updated, but it seems to be a largely cosmetic update. I see no new functionality. In fact, the widget has been removed (not that it was working anyway). Wait, they seem to have added the ability to control and sort devices across multiple houses. Seems like a strange thing to prioritize when the basic triggers for home automation are still so clunky.I cannot shift my lights to turn on a number of minutes before sundown. It can only be *exactly* at sundown. So I've added another condition. Another cool thing, you can't delete conditions. If you make a mistake you have to delete everything and start from scratch. If i try go to check the city, the city list is entirely in Chinese with no search. When editing my house's location. The Google maps address selector simply does not work.After a little bit of time with the outlets and the app, I find it very frustrating. Spend the extra few dollars and buy reliable smart sockets from people with an app that actually works.

I loaded the Kuled app and got the icon on my desktop. When I click on the icon something comes up for a fraction of a second and disappears, just see my desktop again. Deleted and loaded 5 times with the same results. Without the app or a workaround if there is one, the plugs are useless.

Work just as well as any other plugs I've purchased so far. Easy to set up using the SmartLife app, and just as easy to integrate into your Google Home environment. I'm using one to power my kettle and coffee maker, and another to power some lights. The user interface for these in SmartLife was a little different to some other plugs I connected through the app, which was weird. It's a tad bit uglier, but that doesn't affect the functionality at all, especially if you're using Alexa/ Google Assistant, anyway. Important note that while they both can technically fit on a single outlet, it's a very tight fit. I personally didn't feel comfortable with how they were slightly pushing each other out in opposite directions. If the design wasn't bulbous in the middle, it would be easy to fit them in.

works with Alexa, install app home life I believe it was called then merge with Alexa. Very easy set up. The wifi Plugs were a wonderful purchase and we use them for our string lights.

Amazing wifi wall plugs! Set 2 of them up with the Smart Life App in less than 5min! Just have to decide where to put the other 2!
