Fun to build
My 10 year old absolutely loved this. I got it because he’s been into mechanical engineering, and has been building things out of cardboard lol. He was able to assemble this and only struggled with the speaker wiring a little. With my assistant we got through that part. He had so much fun doing this project. Powering it on was a priceless experience. Seeing the excitement on his face when he discovered it worked! Worth every cent, the radio sounds crystal clear and the Bluetooth speaker works well, not as clear sounding as the radio. It comes with everything you need!

Lots of fun
Did this with my grandson. Lots of fun. Easy to build. Great to listen to music not on a phone.

Read before buying
The documentation and instructions for the RADIO kit are excellent! The only recommendation I have to make for that project, being a five-star project, is to use slip-on contacts for the speaker wire connections. Twisting the wires is not reliable. I am a highly experienced Electronic Engineer, so I soldered those connections. My eight-year-old granddaughter had no problem following the other steps, and the radio works fine. The "SPEAKER" kit's instructions are not nearly as good, and the steps are not as well illustrated as those in the other kit. More wire connections require twisting. Here also, slip-on connectors would be far more reliable. Lastly, the front of the speakers is vulnerable to damage. They should be covered like in the other kit. Add a dollar to the price for the necessary parts and eliminate the need for soldering! The name should be changed to "Bluetooth Audio Amplifier," and the text should be edited to eliminate spelling errors. After assembling the kit, it flawlessly connected to our Apple phone and tablet and had good sound.

Very good quality and works very well!
Brought this for my 8yr old daughter. She likes to tinker and build stuff. This is a very good kit. Once my daughter assembled the FM radio and speaker, it worked very well.I can't believe it's only $19.

Simple project that brings smiles and confidence!!
It’s great for a SUPER basic project. I expected more but everything came together great. My almost 7 yr old did the radio all by himself. He’s so proud of his accomplishments. Each project does take 2 AA batteries.
