Cao Camping Wooden Trekking Pole

Straight well finished (smooth and varnished) trekking pole with metal tip protector and leather hanging loop/wrist strap. Probably not strong enough to support much force being applied but as I wanted it to fend off unwanted attention from other dogs not on leads or muzzled because of stupid irresponsible owners who think it acceptable to have dogs they can't control in public spaces I think this will more than serve the purpose of protecting me and my dog from further attacks.

Gosh - I would be horrified to meet the two reviewers who are using their trekking pole to fend off dogs. If they are that scared when out then they shouldn't have a dog! Anyaways - I am delighted with my pole. It helps me navigate over tree roots and slippy areas where the leaves have fallen when I am out with my spaniel in our local nature reserve. I also bought it to help with my posture on our long treks and for this it is the right height and comfortable to hold.

Love it ! Size size weight & girthare perfect -not too clumpy.I bought 3 all together to compair and this was by far the best & cheeper!! Lovely point for trekking & a rubber cap in addition to use indoors or on hard ground. My father has fancyed it too so I will get him 1 for fathers day . It’s been a life saver on rugged terrain & smart & practical for walking with the dogs & strong enough for fighting through bushes & brambles it’s also a lovely looking stick.. I’m 5’4”ish female and 110cm was ideal for me . You don’t feel burdens carrying this around In fact you forget it’s evn there . Lovey .

Broke in 5 minutes. The strength of a Twiglet. Rubbish soft wood. Looks cheap and nasty.

Broke first time out i was so disgusted I threw it before I got home did want to carry to half's of a useless stick ..not recommended
