A finely made hairbrush set that works well and feels nice on your scalp!
For many years I have tolerated expensive hairbrushes that I bought only to discover they hurt my scalp, fell apart prematurely, pulled out a lot of hair, and had a chemical oder.I love bamboo products, but had never discovered that bamboo hairbrushes existed. I like that the deal of including both a standard and travel size brush in the package, which to my astonishment also includes spare replacement pins! Both the handles and pins are made of bamboo. The bamboo is finely shaped and smoothed. The workmanship is excellent! Every single pin is precisely shaped and I detected no flaws at all.The brushes feel very light and pulls through my hair very easily! And best of all, my scalp does not get scratched at all! In fact, the sensation is much more akin to a massaging sensation! I experimented with brushing my hair without using a comb first and for the first time in my life, I have a brush that works very well, is comfortable, avoids yanking me bald, and has a very nice, bamboo wood odor.Freshly washed, still wet hair? No problem! Sweaty, wet, dirty hair? Again, no problem! Folks, I have fallen in love with my bamboo brushes! I have just ordered more of these brushes for me, and my wife, and my children!Thankyou for a fine product!Follow up note: Avoid keeping a brush stored inside your vehicle. Sunlight and heat causes the rubber membrane to fail, rendering the brush useless.

So much better than a regular brush!
Recently I have been experiencing a lot of shedding due to stress from job loss, catching the flu and weight loss. I'd been looking into way to help restore some health to my hair/scalp and heard about using a bamboo brushes instead of regular. Now I know why people are talking about these! Right away with the first swipe through my hair it didn't tug on my hair the way a normal brush does and so many fewer strands came out in the brush. After about a week of use I've noticed a small difference in the quality of my hair. My scalp tends to be a little bit on the more oily side and this brush actually pulls the oil through my hair so its not as bad and the rest of my hair feels softer. I could go on and on but I'll just say that I highly recommend switching to a bamboo brush. The quality is pretty much what you would expect for a hair brush. One bristle broke though (possibly my fault?) either way its nice that they send you some replacement bristles. My fiance loves the little brush since he doesn't have long hair meanwhile my hair is down to the middle of my back.

PERFECT! I love it!!
I looked at ALL the similar paddle brushes available at the time and i’m SO glad i chose this one! the brand name is a little weird but glad i looked past that. I ended up choosing it because of the least reviews of the bristles falling out, and because the rubber backing is white not black. It looks much nicer on my bathroom counter with the white. I love that it doesn’t have any plastic parts at all and it doesn’t appear to have a chemical coating on it either. It’s very gentle and great at brushing through knots and i love that it comes with a travel size brush too, although my toddler thinks the little one is “his” 😂 Definitely recommended! A little hard to get hair out of it but only because i don’t have a tool to use.

Bristle is not missing. Still getting used to the brush. Good quality.
I'm in limbo on this product. It's so hard to review items that have a lot to do with personal preference. So, first of all, I noticed the price went up a bit. I paid just under 10, which I felt was a very fair price for 2 brushes. I find them to be of good quality, which is, of course, important. There is an absent bristle in each brush - this is intentional - it is not missing. The company even sent me an e-mail before my order arrived, explaining this. The brushes come with a few spare bristles - just in case you would lose one, which I think is great. Being able to replace a bristle, if need be, rather than have to replace the brush shows me that this is a company that doesn't want their product ending up in a landfill prematurely & that they care about their customers.I find the handles to be comfortable in my hands. I like the way my hair feels after using this brush. It does feel substantially better on my scalp than my previous plastic/nylon/whatever brush. I have thick long hair, and this brush can handle it.I haven't found, yet that the big brush is any better or worse at untangling my hair than most brushes I've used, but I'm wondering if the head of the brush is too big for me. Only a small portion of the brush actually touches my head at any given time, but yet the head of the brush is so large. My previous brush was much smaller, so perhaps I'm just not handling the change very well. I do tend to be a bit set in my ways :-) I really want this brush to work for me, but just feel that the big brush is not working for me. It's like, because it's so big, the bristles are all at the wrong angles for my head, or something - making it take way more strokes to get the bristles to get the hair brushed enough to get to the scalp. I can't explain. Basically, it's taking me longer to brush my hair than it used to. Happy with the results, but not happy with the process. Also, the extra strokes I'm having to use, are making my hair static. I don't believe the bamboo has much to do with this - I think it's the white fabric-type stuff that the bristles go into. If the bristles were longer or at a different angle or something, I don't know that my hair would even come into contact with the part of the brush that holds the bristles. So, last night, I grabbed the smaller brush. It seemed to work better for me. It wasn't first thing in the morning (bed head) or after coming inside from being out in the wind, so it wasn't 'tested' with my hair at it's worse. I am going to try using the smaller brush this week, and see if it works better for me. Being a smaller brush, the bristles seem to be at a better angle to get through my hair better, quicker, and with less strokes - we'll see.Not sure if this review is of much use to any of you, because I haven't decided yet if I like this product, but it is of good quality and workmanship.Update: Tried the small brush a couple of times, but too small for regular use. Nice brushes, but I really with there was a size in between the 2.Update (a couple of weeks later): Back to using the big one. It still seems awkward to me, but I have to admit my hair is softer than it's ever been.

It does work!
I'm giving this brush 5 stars because it does what it says. It feels so good on my scalp when brushing, like a massage and it does distribute the oils in my roots all the way to the ends of my hair which I think helps it break less. I now use less anti breakage lotion. I also love that it gets rid of frizzy hair or static. I made a good choice. It's not easy to find good products online that promise results and don't deliver. This one does. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. At least it worked for me since my hair is not extremely thick. Thanks for the travel size brush. I keep it in my car; it's great same quality.
