Sure, these cost a bit more, however, it is worth it. This case is maximum protection and fits like a glove. Highly recommend.

Very easy to put on and works very well. I drop my phone on hard surfaces occasionally, and I’ve used this brand in the past, so I trust it. Added bonus - it’s very easy to charge through this case with a magnetic charger. I planned on using the charger that came with my iPhone, but decided to try an inexpensive MagSafe Charger 2-Pack 15W Magnetic Wireless Charger (showing blue lighted rims) on Amazon for around $19 (currently $12.99), and it works perfectly. I got the green Defender case. I wish it came in more color options and designs, but it’s not the most important consideration for me, so I’m very happy with it.

Not made like they used too. Too thin and what screen protection is there . Open back camera area is massive. Just no. We chose something else off brand by spigen.

Who needs damage insurance from Apple when the Otterbox protects.

EDIT ON 1-3-25:My earlier review said the new camera cut out was irritating. Now I am changing that from irritating to a design flaw. I dropped my phone and the glass cracked at the very point that OtterBox created the camera cut out. I’m changing my review from four stars to two because, while the case is built very well, fits perfectly, and has a nice texture, the cut-out is a major design flaw preventing the Defender from doing the one thing a Defender is supposed to do: protect (or "Defend") the phone.This case, like all the Defender cases I've bought over the years, is well made, fits the phone perfectly, and is very protective. My complaint is about the camera cut-out. (I also don't like the fact that the Defender case no longer comes with a screen protector, but that's now an old issue.) I don't like the way the cut-out fits in my hand. I've accidentally pressed it while holding the phone and suddenly the camera is on. It also looks bad, IMO. I understand why Otterbox did it. Without the cut-out you'd be unable to zoom the camera in and out with that camera button. But, a covered camera button would only need to be pressed to turn the camera on, and that's the most important part of that feature. I'm sure it’s cost prohibitive, but t'd be nice to see Otterbox make a Defender case with and without the camera cut-out. Otherwise, it’s a very good case.
