water water everywhere
The distiller performs exactly as advertised. The operating instructions are lucid and accurately describe all of the system features. Six liters are quietly distilled in 4-5 hours. The unit is easily dissembled for quick cleaning after several cycles of distillation. The pure water is used in a C-pap machine, a room humidifier, and to make lemonade. A great buy.

Works great if you're a CPAP user
We used to have distilled water delivered in 5 gallon bottles, but when our water cooler was destroyed by Hurricane Ian, we cancelled deliveries for a while. Then we discovered how much more expensive it had gotten, and also realized there was a lot of waste in buying it from the grocery store, so I started shopping home distillers. I looked at many options and the associated reviews, and we decided on the Vivo Home. It was the right decision.I run it for two cycles every 2-2 1/2 weeks and have had absolutely no issues with it. The water gets poured out of the container into heavy duty plastic bottles, which I will be replacing with glass shortly. The water is perfect for our CPAP machines and anything else we might need it for.One criticism I noticed from another user was the narrow opening that the cap on the bottle has. It's a metal cap that sort of resembles the top of a Morton Salt container when it's open. I used that cap once and I agree that you have a little bit of mess. However, leaving the cap off and just making sure you have the spigot lined up has worked great with no mess.I believe it is fairly priced , well designed and solid. I bought the citric acid powder and I clean it after every use. I have only had it a few months, so if I have any issues that reflect on anything I've said here I'll come back and edit the post. But as of right now I'd recommend it to anyone who asked.

Works well.
I've been using this for a few weeks now. It does a good job of distilling water. It does produce a lot of heat which is to be expected and is not quiet, so I would recommend it be used in a room where you don't mind the heat or sound.

High quality and easy to use
We have been using water distillers for decades. This VivoHome distiller is heads and shoulders above anything we have seen for home use. Easy to set up. Built to last. Distills water faster. It comes with a well-designed plastic jug that fits right under the spout. The only problem is that it doesn't make sense to me to use a plastic container after going through all this work to distill the water. Just storing distilled water in plastic containers adds plastic particles to our diet if we are going to drink that water, and plastic leaches even faster when the water is warm-almost hot, as it comes out of the spout. We simply use a large glass bowl to catch the water, as we always have. Not as convenient, but I can taste the difference. Speaking of which, the water tastes very pure.Overall, it is a real pleasure using the distiller. I highly recommend it.

The water comes out great!!!
This is a really nice machine. I plugged it in and in 5 hours, had really clean, distilled water. It tastes really good. I've done 3 batches so far. The 1.6 gallon capacity is great. Highly recommended!!!

Quieter than expected, very pleased
The two main complaint in reviews seem to be it’s too pound and the drip nozzle leaks or is difficult to make not leak. I didn’t find either of these to be an issue. The noise levels are very tolerable, like a small fan, and the drip nozzle works easily, without leaking at all. Also, it appears to be working very fast. It’s a large unit, but not unmanageable. Once broken in, I’ll put it in my garage to run continuously or as needed. I’ll distill six gallons or so, then wait a few days to distill more.

Great for humidifiers
Love it. I use a fancy humidifier that requires distilled water. I got tired of buying gallons from the store, so I decided to give this a try. I'm glad I did. It's easy to use, easy to clean, and easy to store when not in use. I can tell the quality of the water is good too because my air purifiers don't alert me of "bad air."
