Although polychromy is not new news these photographs are amazing. People with little to no interest in classics enjoy the book too.

A must have for any serious investigator, on the application of color on ancient sculpture.Although it doesn’t go deeper on the treatment of shadows, that greatly enhance the three dimensionality of the objects, it still remains a great reference.
