It is good , when you put your camera straight on it
Build decently. Doesn't fit to my Walmart monopod , but I removed existing 4/20 with rubber pad , and ran ( in a plastic, unfortunately) a new thread to match this tripod . It's OK , but if I put my 2K camera with 2K lens ? Prabably not , as long as my hands are within 10 inches radius from the gear. It's not not , because it's something wrong with the new bottom thing, just the weight ratio top to bottom gives opportunity even for a wind to knock it down.So , it's good to work with one hand close to camera and the other with remote control , just to help eliminate the extra shaking.

Worth Buying
Absolutely love it but don’t need it since the monopod I was going to use it With is not compatible. This is an awesome base. I love love the stability it gives my monopod after my camera is attached. It really felt secure.

Adds some stability to a monopod
Fits as a replacement foot for standard monopods. My only challenge so far is that I am unable to 'tighten' the flex joint, just below where the foot attaches to the monopod, which won't allow the foot to support the monopod when extended with me holding it.

unstable
I feel the need to write a review on this product due to my expectation v. actual product. First let me start by saying that I knew the off-brand chances of a bust. The construction and feel of the product is 4 star. It fit my monopod with no adaptor required. It feels sturdy when you tighten the swing knob to prevent it form tilting. The negative star is with the issue of the legs, primarily when the legs are extended and the pole is over 3' extended. I know that the higher the monopod is extended the higher the chances of tilting over, but the legs do not snap in place nor do they stay firmly in place, there is wiggle room on the legs, and on a monopod, unstable legs is not a good thing. I learned the hard way; at approximately 4.5' off the ground, on flat pavement, 45 degree tilt on my camera, the legs felt loose and the camera fell. I was fortunate to see that the only damage was to lens and not my camera. I am glad I lens is the only thing that broke! In conclusion, this is a ok product at best. Works fine when used with a short monopod, but use caution when trying to use the monopod fully extended. good luck.

Works Perfectly w/ Zhiyun Crane V2
Fit and finish is pretty darn good for the price point. I also like that the legs folded upward so as to minimize the overall length of the rig as opposed to some of these legs that fold downward. The folding mechanism of the legs works smoothly and feels solid. The legs are also decently wide with rubber on the tips which helps to keep the entire rig very stable. Not sure how well it would work with larger gimbals with heavier rigs. But with the Crane V2, I have mounted the EOS M with various APSC lenses, Sony A9 with various primes (within 4lbs for entire rig), and Fuji X-Pro2 with various primes without any balancing or toppling issues. The Crane v2 doesn’t come with base/legs like the heavier payload gimbal models from Zhiyun. This monopod base does a great job for the price point with this particular gimbal.

Not really great...but okay
It has a good build quality to it...but the tightening mechanism for it to not rotate is terrible. If you put just a little load onto it, it unscrews and you equipment does not stand straight at all. Plus if you have to use the adapter to fit another size screw attachment, this leaves it very unstable. I will most likely have to replace it soon because I am afraid my 2k equipment will hit the ground and cause major damage.
