Seems to be good for the price
Haven't gotten around to machining any of these yet, purchased 4 all together but price is right and fits the threaded mount of my extremely old lathe, will try n update on how they machine and work out!

Good product
Put this on my south bend 10k, had .002-.003 runout. Cleaned up to 0 nicely. Bolted up a vevor Chuck to it. Now I have .015 runout. Guess I should spend a little more on a better chuck

Fits CME/SanDo chuck with no additional modifications
You will want to detailed clean and check the threads before use.My CME 8.5” chuck came without a back plate to attach to the spindle of my South Bend 9A lathe. This back plate came threaded correctly to match my spindle. Additionally, this plate is machined and drilled to fit the CME brand chuck. No need to machine a “register” or drill holes to match the chuck. You can basically bolt the plate onto the check and spin it onto your lathe and run it…. However! You will need to do some cleaning before installing onto you finely crafted vintage machine. Cleaning I mean not just getting rid of the preservative oil but cleaning the very rough machining of the thread. Yes, the portion that will mate with your precision tool.I immediately noticed the overall finish is rather rough when I removed it from the crudely packaged paper container. It was mailed in the typical Amazon economy bubble bag. The material used by the maker as packaging was a flimsy corrugated cardboard box with no padding. The metal plate was packed in a oily thick plastic bag. The item arrived with the original packaging mostly destroyed. The plate is basically a robust hunk of steel, so damages were not a risk and arrived just fine. Next big thing I noticed were metal shaving in the threads. After removing the factory preservative oils, I worked on cleaning out the threads. I didn’t have the correct sized tap to use as a thread chaser to clean the threads. So I used a pick to carefully remove the loose metal shavings and break off the snags and used honing stones to dress up the machined surfaces. I can only just guess the tolerance of the thread cut being nothing close to anything we would cut. Obviously, no checks were made after the treads were cut. But the pitch was correct enough and it will thread on if you use care. It seated fine onto my spindle. I also used some emery cloth to clean up the rough surface finish so it will match the rest of my machine and the much better finished chuck.Overall, I am giving it three stars because it is way better than getting a blank and needing the additional efforts to machine a shoulder to fit and drilling holes to match.

.008 TIR
Back plate has .008” TIR. Likely should have been expected at this price point.
