If your on your feet all day this lightweight, comforable, well cushioned boot may be the answer.
Seller's title claims it's a hiking boot but the product description and box call it a work boot. Feels more like a very robust high top sneaker than a boot. Will have to wait and see how it holds up to hiking and construction work. It's lightweight for a boot.It fits my slightly wide feet comfortably, feels roomy in the toe box. May be to much room for very narrow feet. I normally wear size 11 in boots and these fit my 10.5 to 11 size foot well. (See my first picture with my foot on the insert). The inserts make these very soft underfoot may be too soft for some (see my second picture of insert). Very nice heel cushion and decent forefoot cushion too. I had no issues jogging in these on the hard pavement. They feel softer than my 5 year old running shoes. Time will tell if the inserts can keep their cushioning or if they go flat. Walking on 1 inch gravel rocks was no issue and barely felt.I like the round laces but they do need to be tied similar to a square knot to stay tied. Otherwise they come loose when walking or running.Seller's description says soft toe but the toe is hard (not a steel toe just hard rubber). It may become soft over time as the boot are worn. But nice that's it's hard for a work boot. The boots were slightly awkward to walk in at first, similar to other Chinese made boots I have. They seem to make the ball of your foot hit the ground flat instead of pronating (meaning your outside heel strikes first and your foot rotates as it comes down on the surface to your inside ball of your foot which is how your foot absorbs the shock). Not a deal breaker just something to take note of.Seller's description states, "Water-Resistant Design", and seller's picture checks "Water Resistant"; the box they came in doesn't mention anything about water resistance. I tested with a hose and they do repel water well for quick spills but it starts to seep in if they stay constantly wet. The tongue of the boot is not water resistant at all and will soak right through. These should be OK for walking through the occasional 1 to 2 inch puddle but not a full day of hiking in the rain. They are decently breathable. They may get a bit warm like any boot on very warm days but when I was running in 60 to 70 degree weather I felt they were more breathable than most other boots I have tried. There are no lugs on the sole which is fairly flat. They seemed to grip fine even on wet tile. Sole is very flexible making it more of a day hiker on tame trails than a backpack boot. The boots get wrinkles were you bend your foot even after just a couple of wearings (see my 3rd and 4th pictures). Again, not a deal breaker just something to be aware of.Note: The box they came in was torn up and damaged but the boots were fine. Conclusion:They fit my slightly wide foot well, are well cushioned, with decent breathe-ability.

Fit and comfort
It doesn’t feel good for my feet. Too much space and doesn’t make me want them

Great Boots
I bought these for my dad. He loves how light they are and still feel like they offer protection from anything you might step on. He hasn't taken them hiking but has worn them for some outdoor work. They seem to work great, cushion his step, and leave him comfortable when they come off.

Impressive hiking boots
I recently purchased the OUXX Eco-Friendly Men's Hiking Boots, and here are my thoughts on this product:**Design and Comfort:**The design of these hiking boots is both stylish and practical. They look great and feel incredibly comfortable right out of the box. The soft toe design ensures that there’s no pinching or discomfort, even during long hikes. The boots are lightweight, which reduces fatigue and makes them ideal for extended use.**Eco-Friendly Materials:**One of the standout features of these boots is their eco-friendly construction. OUXX has clearly put thought into using sustainable materials without compromising on quality or durability. It's nice to know that these boots are not only good for my feet but also better for the environment.**Traction and Stability:**The slip-resistant rubber outsole provides excellent traction on a variety of surfaces. Whether I’m trekking through muddy trails or rocky terrain, these boots offer a secure grip that helps prevent slips and falls. The stability they provide makes navigating uneven ground much safer and more comfortable.**Durability:**So far, the durability of these boots has been impressive. They have held up well under different weather conditions and terrains. The construction feels solid, and I’m confident they will last for many more hiking adventures.**Fit and Sizing:**The boots fit true to size, which is always a relief when buying footwear online. They offer ample room in the toe box and have good arch support, which is crucial for long hikes. The laces and eyelets are sturdy, allowing for a snug and secure fit.**Breathability:**Despite being durable and sturdy, the boots are also quite breathable. My feet stayed relatively cool and dry, even during intense hikes. This is a significant advantage, as it helps prevent blisters and discomfort.**Minor Downsides:**While there is much to love about these boots, there are a few minor downsides. The break-in period was slightly longer than expected. It took a few hikes before they felt completely comfortable. Additionally, the insoles could use a bit more cushioning for those who need extra support.**Conclusion:**Overall, the OUXX Eco-Friendly Men's Hiking Boots are an excellent choice for anyone who enjoys hiking and values sustainable products. They offer a great combination of comfort, durability, and eco-friendliness. The excellent traction and stability make them reliable for various terrains, and the stylish design is a bonus. Despite a slightly longer break-in period and the need for more cushioned insoles, they earn a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommended for eco-conscious hikers looking for reliable and stylish footwear!

Incredibly comfortable, true-to-size boots; very breathable, quality materials. Not a workboot!
These are an extremely comfortable, well-made pair of, well, what I'd call "sneaker boots." They’re manufactured of the same type of breathable, synthetic fabric as most sneakers, with a thick, comfortable rubber sole and comfortable, cushioned insoles. They have the overall design and form factor of a pair of boots, and as such give, in particular, excellent ankle support if that's important to you.The shoes are weatherized and heavily water resistant, but not really 100% watertight, so don't wear these while spelunking or making your way through a rain forest. They could be good the type of hiking 99% of people actually do, but I'm not sure I would wear these to hike the Appalachian Trail. Most importantly, if you're familiar with OUXX's other (excellent!) shoes, these are NOT work boots or really "work"-itized at all. Their grip is good but not nearly as grippy as their real work shoes and boots, and there's no reinforcement, puncture protection or crush protection for the soles and toe of the boots. That said, the listing also never makes any claims to this being a work boot, either. The listing is perfectly accurate. These are excellent, very comfortable boots perfect for a job where you're on your feet all day but not necessarily climbing the Matterhorn. They fit true to size - I ordered a 12, have quite wide feet, and after a day of break-in, these were completely comfortable. (I will say the boots initially chafed my ankles the first day, but quickly 'broke in' and were fine after that). I also LOVE that these shoes are made of recycled materials, and think they look quite nice aesthetically, as well. All in all, excellent sneaker-style boots, just know what you're buying!
