Good value. Great taste

"I opened the airtight packet this morning and was greeted with an intense aroma of jammy toffee and treacle....these raisins are excellent" - well, that was my comment after receiving my first batch of these (September 2016) when I gave them 5 stars, but after receiving a second batch (November 2016, following a several week delay as they were out of stock) I see that "vegetable oil" is a new ingredient which was not present in the first pack, and whilst the new batch smell and taste, to me, like above average raisins they do not seem as good as the first batch.

Bought these raisins as there were none of our usual brand available anywhere but I’m so glad I did. The order arrived quickly, which was great, but more importantly the raisins are large, beautifully plump and taste delicious. They don’t feel oily as some of the big brands can and it’s a real plus that there are no preservatives. They also come in a really sturdy foil bag that reseals after use. Very happy with my purchase and will definitely buy again.

Anyone who has tasted these will surely keep ordering them. They are so tasty and juicy

If you like your fruit unsulphered and squishy, this is the most irresistible product. I love them for snacking, adding to tagines and baked goods and chopped up with nuts. Great value and they're too heavy to carry with my weekly shop. Having them delivered by a smiling man who happily trotted up to the 5th floor means I'm ordering again!

I love that this product is not too sweet and that it is dry enough not to significantly add liquid to my bread recipe but wet enough to be properly incorporated to the batter. I tried other brands of dried cranberry but I decided to go back to this brand for it gives me a perfect bread every time.

These are so tasty, sweet and moreish. BUT they are so hard I’m concerned I will break a tooth. When I say hard I mean really hard. They should come with a warning sticker

2nd time i've bought these. I use them in Christmas cakes, chutney and all sorts if things. This lot seem a bit more 'clumpy' than previous but still very good value and quality.
