Q: The manual mentions pressing zero adjustment. i don’t see such a button. any ideas?

Where in the manual does it mention "pressing zero adjustment"? I don't see that in my manual. On the right side of the TM-206 there is a panel and hole that is marked 0 ADJ. I have no idea what it is for

Q: Can this product help me measure the opportunity for solar in commercial applications?

Yes it can. With this you could get an idea about the solar potential. However to get a more specific energy yield estimate you will need further studies.

Q: What's the spectral range? (nm)

Not sure what you mean. The manual, under "Range" says 1999W/m2 or 634 BTU /(ft^2*h). This device measures the power of the light at various distances from the source. For example, on my 850nm LED device, the instrument measures the power of the light in W/m^2 or BTU at any given distance.
