Buy a nicer hat
This is not great... the seam in the middle of the forehead goes under the forehead band and was itching and annoying. Haven’t been able to wear out of the house yet due to awkward uncomfortable. Get something a little nicer for a few extra $ and it would probably be worth it.

Love high ponytails! Esp in a hat!
I LOVE how my ponytail can be high while wearing my hat! I feel weird when I have to wear it low in a hat. Plus it gets the hair off your neck on those hot days! I dislike how my head is kind of small and the hat sits a little high on my head. Most hats do as far as hay height goes. But I love it! :)
